Secret Recipe Round 2 (From clone)

Hey guys,
this grow log will be showcasing my favourite strain, Secret Recipe #1. I'm not really too sure what's happening because I got a really nice job offer back in my old city, so I might have to relocate prior to flowering these out. We shall see.

They might be finishing at a friends place, so I'm looking into the possibility of setting up some kind of automated watering system to make things easier for him. I have a pump and a resorvoir, I wouldn't mind doing ebb & flow however I'm anticipating the possibility of needing to raise / lower plants further along, which kind of makes me lean towards some kind of drip system.

2 Secret Recipe clones and a mother will be flowered out, as well as a bonus mother of a different strain, Madness (Matanuska X C99)
They'll be growing under 220 watts of PL-Ls.

These two gallon grow bags sure looked smaller in the store... haha

And this is how everyone fits in the tent. Usually the Madness sits on the box there but I took her out for vision of the others.

And here's a little look at what I got last time with this plant, from seed.
She yielded around 20 grams, making her the heavyweight of last round.

I really love it. I popped 7 seeds and got 1 female, I'm sure there are better phenos out there but the one I got is chunky, dank, and tastes amazing. This one doesn't really taste very chem / diesel to me, its more of a floral / earthy kush taste. Really strong, and it retains flavour all the way down to the roach. Out of ~10 jars from last run this one was the first to empty by quite a bit.

my keeper also had the diesel /floral dominant smelltaste.

Little bit of a veg update, the clones are starting to look like little chem bushes.

Interesting grow, for sure. I've heard good things about Secret Recipe.
I'm curious about those PL-Ls, how much heat do they exactly put off ?

I was using a 110 watt pl-l for veg ..the heat from mine was about 4-10 degrees to ambient ..in a tent in a open space I doubt heat would change ..I'm thinking about doing the same and running 230 watts of pll for a small flower tent sog style ..

Did u flower in 16 oz cups ?
How many weeks of flower ?
Yield ?
I'm liking your moms ..that stem in that lil can is impressive ..I would luv like 3 moms that size ..did u just top it and let it grow ?

You should buy a pack, with the genetics used you'd have to be the unluckiest person in the world to get a shitty plant.

They aren't really that hot, I think the base of the bulbs only get up to 85 or so. The plants have no problem being within an inch or two of the bulb.

Yeah man, my last run (check out my signature) I just did a mini sog from seed to pick moms. Flowered in beer cups for 8 weeks. I would've gone longer but I had some time constraints unfortunately. As far as yield goes I got anywhere from 7g-20g per plant, and I think I had 10+ little plants crammed in there.

The SR mom and the Madness mom were clones I cut off from my last run in week 3 of flower (so back in late July). I let 'em bush out but then cut them both down to their lowest growth tip to keep em small for my friend to take care of. I got my clones back in October and I've been letting em veg out ever since. I really have no idea when these will be flowered.

Let's meet the new girl.
I originally thought this clone was going to die, it got squished really bad and its entire growth tip was destroyed. I left it for dead under my desk lamp, just to see what would happen. A week later it had rooted, and somehow topped itself. Since then I've just had its beer cup set ontop of the SR's pot, chilling in the jungle.

I know some of you sick fucks are into root porn. That's okay. Me too...

Okay guys, tragic news.
I moved this past weekend and there was no room for my babies. I don't have any grow bros, so they met a swift death by decapitation and left to rot in a dumpster.

I'm an evil, evil botanist.

On the plus side, I have over 50 Miscellaneous X Secret Recipe seeds...When I get the chance to grow again we'll see what those contain.
