i am building a trap or secret compartment in a vehicle. i have found the perfect spot and prepared it. i am at the point that i need an electronic relay in order to power the opening and closing of the compartment. can anyone help me with a solution? if i could even figure out how to wire up something like a cd/dvd tray sliding open and closed i would be golden. i know one of our resident geniuses must be able to give me some direction.... :D

Simple, find a constant power lead, context to servo, or relay , then run the other lead from servo and ground it, completing the dc circuit.

Power lead to relay
lead from relay to power side of servo
ground to relay, servo should ground through mounting to body, if not run a ground lead
relay to switch to activate relay and servo.
with power to the relay, from relay to servo, when you activate the switch it will click the relay giving power to the servo to open the door, click again the servo should move to the closed position. It sounds harder than it is, very simple wiring...
