Second remesh cage diameter on 6' diameter fabric pot

In the past I've used one center remesh cage and then many layers of Hortonova 6"x6" trellis netting to support 12'-15' plants. I always had leaning plants, and regretted not supporting them more with steel.

This year I'm going to put up a second cage. I found some 7' high remesh so I'll be using that.

First cage using 5' high remesh is roughly 2.5'-3' diameter, triple planted 400 gallon pots.

Should the second cage be almost the diameter of the pot, and sit on top of the pot? Or should it wrap around the pot, and be same/slightly larger than the diameter of the pot? Obviously the larger cage provides more support but at the expense of 2' height loss due to pot.

Will having a 3' inner cage and 5' outer cage (only 12" in between cages) make much sense on a 6' pot? Or should I sacrifice height support and make a 6' cage to wrap around the pot, giving 18" between cages?

lol last year i did right outside the pot, but my smart pots where 1/2 buried so it was easier..

this year i got them raised on lawn so im doing my second cage right inside the pot and then wiggle it down 6'' and put two stakes all the way down and zip tie.. mainly because my cages wont fit all the way around the pot (i used smaller pots last year) and its only 4' cage..

I'm curious how difficult it will be to get inside to the center of the pot for random maintenance, like maybe broken branches, missed pruning, whatever. With flexible trellis netting, it was simply lifting up and getting underneath. No such convenience with steel remesh. Without cutting access holes, but even that seems.difficult.

How do I make access easy?

I fear if I don't make a full connected circle, the structure will be weakened and lose rigidity.

I usually cut an opening in the bottom to crawl through. Then carefully stand up.The hole is usually lower than most branches anyway.
My tip is make your cut so you have a long piece to bend away from the hole, towards the outside. If you cut the cells clean it leaves a sharp nub that will ultimately cut you when you crawl through.
Happy farming.
