Second opinion on vent!

Hello fellow growers I am currantly setting up a new bigger growroom and need a second opinion on my vent.

My room is 982 cubic feet
I will use 6 600w with air cooled powerplant aerowing. It will be two lanes with 3 lamps on each connected to a fan with 470cfm and a carbon filter that will push the air throw the reflectors. The air is taken from the room and pushed out.

I will also have a smaller fan with filter that will be on 24/7 so I always have negative pressure in the room

What do you think is this a good setup?

You're going with 6 lights and 3 fans?

I prefer to pull the air to the exhaust point, rather than push it.

I think that as long as your intake temperature is >75 degrees F then you should not have any heat or air exchange problems.

It's 2x470cfm for 6 lights and 250cfm 24/7 fan.

Good then its not a problem I live in Sweden and winter is coming :)

250 cfm intake and 940 exhaust isn't going to work. Yes, you'll have neg. pressure all right. Way too negative. Eliminate the intake fan and use passive intake. You'll have neg. pressure without overtaxing your exhaust fans if you provide the same amount of intake square inches as exhaust. So there are 2 fans 6" exhaust. Provide 2- 6" intake vents, or 1- 8" intake vent [ ∏r² ]. Good luck. [Is that you Carl B.?] -granger

Air exchange twice per minute is your friend with no air-cooled hoods needed....especially with winter coming on where you live Bro....ok....

What size is the room for these 3600 watts.....50 watts per sq ft is minimum , and anything over that will have to be dealt with by environmental equip.....

There`s a thread in the soil section by "green science" that I think every member here needs to see.....put it in thread search....Guy kills it without a/c , air-cooled hoods , or any of the rest of environmental equipment folks use here in the states.....

Food for thought , and good luck with what you come up with.....Sealed rooms work with air cooled hoods...just ....better ways ta skin that mule IME with lungrooms if able to be done....

Peace....DHF....:ying:.....
