Search facility on this site

While this forum does have useful information the search facility doesn't seem to bring up relevant information.

For example if I search super lemon haze or sour cream using the advanced search with search titles only, the results bear little to what I'm actually looking for, making it difficult to view the info I'd like to read.

It never has worked properly... but try typing UK Cheese in,, see if that works

the search function works best when you use the advanced search, then change the parameters to search thread titles only, this way often gets you much more useful results.

um yeah im having search issues also wich really irritates me is the search only searches each and every word....i think it would be best if it was user defined the way it searches like if i want to search for "sour diesel" it will bring up threads with those 2 words next to eachother and not showing posts/threads for sour bubble and stuff like that....can this be possible because i garantee that alot of newbies to the board post stuff that has been answered due to this i have tried quotations but that dont work at all.....if im missing something let me know its just reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally irritating when your trying to search for stuff sometimes

there is an advanced search button in the search window, try that and see if it allows you to get specific. i normally just set it to searching thread titles only, that tends to get me the relevant info with the least wrong results

Like it says in my sig, go to Google, and enter your search followed by site:icmag.com and you will get much better hits and don't we all want good hits?
