Sealing a sliding glass door

Need help on sealing a sliding glass door.

I was thinking of using a similar design like a window box only larger (10' x 12')

Studs drilled into a L bracket, then use 6mm plastic sheeting and glue in it, and then Drywall and nail it up. After use silicone to seal cracks.

Heres a sketch

I need sound dampening, as well as no IR heat signatures going through so my sliding door doesnt light up white.

Anyone have a different design or suggestions? I await your answers.

Need Suggestions on how to seal the bottom of the sliding glass door though? Maybe just lay a 4x4 down there?

You might as well, since you have boards framing the window already. I sealed off a big wide glass door with a kit from Home Depot. It was a big plastic sheet with some double sided tape. The kit was called Instant Storm Window or something like that and only cost $10. I was a bit disappointed when I saw what it was, but decided to try it. Well, that was four years ago and that flimsy looking thing still seals the door!
