Almost ready to start up in my sealed room, I am using a sentinel chhc-1 for controlling all my equipment.

what is the optimum day time temp with CO2 @1500ppm?

what is the optimum night time temp?

thanks peeps

I think the optimal lights on temp is 85F, you do the conversion. Lights off I dont know

Actually there has been a lot of study done on the "differential" or the dif. Keeping the temps as close as possible day and night will keep your internodes shorter, the plants generally yield more, less stress, etc. But there was an article in high times (or similar publication) that talked about actually raising the temperature before the lights came on and dropping it before the lights went off? Even shorter internodes, better yields.

Of course, if you are growing GrandDaddy Green, then you want your night temperatures at or below freezing, otherwise that whore won't turn purple.

Good luck!

Welp if you wanna get technical and maximize the use of a sealed room, all depends on the season.

Daytime, no more than 84F Range of 78-84.

Strainwhore is on it. Diff is very important.

nighttime staying within 6 degrees if you can. Up to 10 degress is acceptable.

The last 3 hour before light come on if where the plant senses the nighttime temps.

So if you drop the temps to 65 - 2-3 hours before dawn. the plants will think there was a diff.

so all depends on growing goal.

You can better control yield and stretch using DIFF.

When day is warmer than night plants stretch.

When day is cooler than night the growth slows.

During flower, keep the day and night temps as close as possible for the best results.

At the end of season go a little cooler at night over the day. This will also mimic winter and help the plants deliver all the energy to the flowers.

Diff and temps can really help your yields.

excellent, thanks strainwhore and yukino_asano, the sentinel will allow me to play around with settings like that.

ive found that although cold temps increase resin cold temps also drasticly reduce yields.
this crops was grown 65-70@day 55-60@night
tad of pm but shes nice and purple

some whores dont turn purp no matter how cold.

snadge how are you controlling the ppms with the gen?
also you dont need/want to run co2 at night.
85-day.

Hi digitalhippy, the sentinel controls the ppm using fuzzy logic on bottled CO2, it has a photoelectric cell that shuts off CO2 in the night cycle.
