im am setting up a seal room to use c02 but ran into a problem. I can only use a portabe ac, i read somewhere that portable will rob me of my c02. Is there a way to work around this? dual hole portable ac? I don't mind losing some C02. Any advise anyone? thanks

I used a dual hose portable with the intake hose run through the wall to another room,it still took my co2 and I mean shot it up into the attic bigtime, there's no way I know of to use both successfully. The only other thing i can think of is it was just the fujitronic 9000BTU unit I used, but I kinda doubt it.There may be a way to fix the unit so that with the dual hose, the is no intake at the unit itself, thats how I thought it would work anyway,I was wrong.

im planning to run a sealed room too. i dont understand the problem you are having with a protable AC, why would it rob u of CO2?

simple, because a portable a/c exhausts the hot air produced by the a/c unit, the air it's exhausting has to come from somewhere, comes from with in the room obviously . The duel hose units pulls air from the first hose, through the unit, and exhausts out the second hose. get it? it solves the issue, but i don't know from experience how well it's sealed and what not.

fuzy I can say from experience my dual hose fujitronic 9000 BTU with the intake through a wall to another room did not solve the issiu at all,it still took my co2 though you'd think all the intake was in the hose,it apparently isnt. Not in the unit I used anyway

You need to get a mini split AC. It uses a condenser outside and runs coolant lines to another unit inside the growroom. They are sweet. The other option is a window shaker AC. Portable ACs are garbage.

Conditions permiting, you could set the window unit thru an internal wall. The heat it generates can easily dissapate. May not be the most stealth, just say its your wine closet.

Which window shakers are best to use? I want to make sure I don't get one that exhausts the room air.

Unless it has a fresh air vent, and you open it,it wont exhaust outside they're made to recirculate the air inside

i got a window one and i installed it through a wall. the back gose into a bathroom witch has an exahust fan. it was$ at lowes and it passed the SMOKE TEST I DON't THINK the co2 will escape through it.
