Sealed and temp. controlled, co2 enriched, micro cab.

I have searched throughout ICMag for quite some time in hopes to stumble upon a micro-cab that has the following qualities -
  • Air- sealed & light tight
  • co2 enriched with ppm regulation
  • Climate controlled - temp. & humidity
  • Extremely stealth - sound, smell, & size

Has anyone come across a micro cab with these features? Is anyone willing to help design a cab with these features? I have been doing extensive research on the notion.

The style that would be most suitable would be NGB style cab if possible.

Read the second sticky in the micro forum sticky section its all about NGB cabs

How do you intend to introduce the co2 to the cab? What dimensions do you have to work with? The more info you give about what you've already planned the easier it will be to help...

Your correct DU420. I simply wanted to raise the question and begin a discussion.

The ideal size would have a flower chamber of that can hold a 3 sq. ft. area scrog. A 250hps sounds good for this grow space.

As far as introducing co2 to the micro cab - that is a question im looking to help get answered. Is there a way to calculate how much co2 (in total) you would need to last one grow? I am looking for safe, stealth, efficient, and clean ways to introduce co2 at a controlled rate? Any ideas for an NGB style box anyone?

How do you plan on cooling it and keeping the co2 in? Maybe integrate a small window banger?

If you guys can hold out long enough, I hope to have something like this going on next year sometime... :)

I am in the process of designing this right now. This becoming more and more of a challenge but I believe with the right testing and patience, it can be built. What do you think about exchanging some private messages back and forth to trade some ideas and get something started?

I'm interested :)
Even though, going such small dimensions, is it really worth the fuss?

...no pun intended bro :) I'm just wondering, given the price of an effective CO2 system, and its mainteinance, how do you think it would compare to an equal 250W micro setup without CO2, yeld-wise?

I think yield would be slightly more with co2 due to a more vigorous vegetative growth. Price definitely makes it unattainable to most growers. Real question is, is it worth spending bones on a co2 system with marginal results?

If someone wanted to build a completely stealth box with zero noisy fans, co2 is a pricey but viable option.

thanks for your answer, you had me at "marginal" :)
anyways getting rid of noisy fans sounds compelling indeed...

I've been thinking of ways to do this as well. Here's what I've come up with.

Mini-fridge (working)
Mini dehumidifier (http://www.eva-dry.com/products/?menuPhone=(855) 292.6460&gclid=CMPTxoPYzLICFUjhQgod4TMApA model 1100)
CO2 injection
Beer/kegerator temp regulator (allows you to set operating temps of fridge)

Uh... so yea. Mini-sealed environment. You'd have to modify your refrig to eliminate the freezer section that's common on most models. Not sure how well the dehumidifier would work on there, but it seems like this would be tits?

Freezerboy where ya at dood?

I can tell you from personal experience that, introducing co2 and dehumidification and all these other controls you want, it is going to get cramped in your 3x3 hardcore unless you can create space vertically. If you have vertical space, the solution is quite simple.

You're definitely right. I was thinking of keeping the CO2 outside the fridge and potentially using vertically hung PL-L lights in order to save vertical space.

ive been thinkin about thins for over a year just to get rid of the fans and mmake things totally stealth
there really should be a product for a micro set up
