Scrubber Getting WeaK!!!

It's been about 2yrs since I bought it. I called my shop guys to ask how much for a fill up they said," Oh they aren't made to refill.." Bullshit! The top comes right off.. So where can I get some activated carbon and avoid spending $400 again?

You can get it in aquarium shops,but it REALLY expensive

Really? Every time I see something new and exciting in aquaria it seems to come from the Dutch or the Germans. I'd think prices were reasonable.

im in australia ....when i was looking for the stuff i could only find it in small bags....had a look on ebay and found in big bags there....so maybe give them a go too ?.HH. =]-~

They're NOT, and shipping inside the EU is really expensive
And we can get the cool stuff like super sun 2, dam, that still pisses me of!

Ebay is the best place to look. If you have to go quickly go to petsmart but its pretty expensive to fill one all the way up with that charcoal. To fill up my carbon scrubber takes a bit over 2 gallons of charcoal (12-14lbs).

The cost of scrubbers made me want to make my own... I highly suggest you look into it... make one if you can!! For about ~$30 you can make one... replace the carbon every few grows, and your good to go! Make one according to the size of your room...
