scrubber/exhaust ideas?

just wondering :chin: if anyone has ever made a scrubber that is connected up to two fans, eg:

LEGEND :sasmokin:
8 represents fan
---=======---- represents scrubber

DIAGRAM :pointlaug
8---=======----8

now, if the above picture makese sense, I want to have 2 low db fans sucking out the stinky smells out of the carbon filter (isntead of one big noisy fan).

I have found a 12V computer fan, 120mm in size that moves 54.7 CFM turning at 1000RPM & at 20dBA noise level.

2 of these I think would kick ass sucking air through that scrubber.

If I were to go down this path, I guess I would have to make a massive scrubber.

Now, for the $100 question, will this work??

I made one of these last year to use in a smoking room. I found that when using the computer fans trying to push through filter it creates to much back pressure. So I had to use 2 and make sure it is very well sealed..

On a larger scale note. Has anyone run into a very stinky strain and need to filters using one fan>?
so... -====---{fan}---=====-
Of course im talking about running like a 8-10" for both would this work....?

You will still run into the same problems, I think with the small computer fans.(they have no ummph) They make a 6" computer fan that blows like crazy.... its like 80 bucks.. but does 220cfm and I believe it... very strong and made durable from metal.
