sCRUBBER 24/7? OR BACK TO FILTER

D

Diamonddss

I CHANGED MY room to a semisealed room(only port ac exhaust). I have converted my can50 with 8 inch to a scrubber on a dimmer switch. I have had no smell issues yet but this uses up the filter much faster so

If no exhuast and just running as a scrubber should i rub 24/7 or stick it on a timer?"

Does a scrubber work as well as exhausting it out thru filter?

I am adding co2

I leave my scrubber on 24-7.

Don't know if works as well. don't know that it doesn't. IMO a filter on an exhaust would scrub the air once as it is expelled, creating a vacuum, not allowing the smell to exit as easily, but a vacuum isn't the best of things for a few reasons.

when used as a scrubber, my thoughts are that it can scrub the air multiple times, not create a vacuum at the cost of allowing smell out only when I open the door. plus no extra holes going outside, less noise outside, and I don't have to worry about the filter not working well enough and blowing it outside.

Those are my thoughts and how I'd rather do it.

To be extra safe, would it be wise to run a scrubber and a seperate filter on the exhaust? Cost effective, not the issue. Smells are. Thoughts?

well i found that carbon filters dont work well with port ac exhaust as they get too hot. A filter on exhaust will be gret if needed. I have not needed it. Using can50 in 6 x 6 attached to 8 inch canfan
