What is the copper disks for? Is it because copper is fungicidal?

Supposedly copper stops the roots growing through it and blocking the drain, I used to use copper mesh discs in my autopots to stop this after reading up about it. Also it doesn't rust lol.

Cant say I found them 100% effective but Srog looks like hes got the Rolls Royce of drain guards...you could chain one of those bad boys and go hip hopping

Raided my hydro shop yesterday and have enough nutes and media to last six months. Everyone else had the same idea, pallets were flying out the back door and people were just buying whatever nutes they had available.

My main concern is if we get an OB/army lockdown.. I figured my plants can go two weeks unattended but obviously that’s very far from ideal
