SCROG Stretch

I would like to keep a plant very short, say no more than 7", but I want to do massive training sideways and fill out a nice chunk of screen. If I had an standard plant that doubled in size when flowered, how much stretch should I expect? Would it be the total length of each branch, from dirt to flowering tip? Say this length is about 14" would it grow another 14" above the screen? Or would it stay very short because of the training and just double to 14" total height? What have you guys seen?

True True. Only way to tell is to see how it stretches. I'm on my second SCROG and it totally comes down to knowing your strain in order to fill and maximize the canopy.

i have scrogged and LSt'd on my last 2 grows. I have had almost no stretch. As of day 12 of 12/12, my LST'd plants with 8 tops each in 5gal of soil have stretched maybe... 4". some of the side branches have stretched 3" in 2 days... it all depends i guess

What strain are you growing? Indica dominant perhaps?

I checked out your SCROG, it looks like you got quite a bit of stretch on those babies. Somebody asked if they were Sativa dominant, do you think these were?
