ok, ive got a budbox which is 3x3 i think and on this grow i wanted to do more of a sog so ive got just under 20 in 2pint milk tubs(will they be big enough?). thing is recently ive tried lst on a cpl of plants which now have like 5 colas, my question is is scrog the same princables as lst? ie u bend it over to 95degrees and the plant puts up colas ? if it is im not sure if to lst all of the plants(im only under a 250mh) or do a scrog? would i be able to make a scrog just with some string? ive seen the shelfs that u can buy for the budbox but its to high for my plants tbh. llol hope that made sence:) ps the plants are strawberry cough from clone

Personally i think you have too many plant in that size of box
You need some good air movement

Floorspace in my cab is essentially 1/3 the size of yours (3 sq ft/1 sq mtr), and 11 plants are filling the place. Although I will be culling some males soon to give some room.
Next grow I plant to lst 4 plants and then put them under a screen. That is until I get my vertical tubes with CMH done. (smile)

IMHO, I would repot and go into flower right away with those with no lst or screen. But thats just me.

Maybe save two. One for moms to clone from and use the LST method to develop good cloning branches, the second to bud using LST.

IMHO. SCROG is for grows that are 'dialed in'. SOG or LST is good b/c if you need to move a plant around or out of your cab, it can be done without fussing with wire or string..

yeah i was gonna flip em anyday now, they was repotted into these 2pint jugs which are about 10" by 5" across(is that to small?). basicly i was going by the grow bible which says u can fit one plant per 0.1-upto 0.5 square feet with 15cm beetween each plant, maths really isnt my strong point though so i might of gone wrong somwhere. ive still got the mother which is where the clones are from. would i get more end product if i just put say 5-8 in bigger 9" wide pots that doing it with these small pots? also if anyones good with math what is the number u can put in if its 0.5 per plant in a 1x1m box? ps its strawberry cough but this pheno i kept was a really short stout plant but it was a bit wide. soz if this dosent make sence lol, think im over thinking it tbh

I second dr.dog and wind walker: get some moms and cull plant numbers if you are going to train plants or use trained plant as mom and do sog as planned.

You can see holes in the buckets rim for LST and a couple big fan leafs get lst's too.

When managed well SCROG can be VERY productive. But the right strains need to be use to gain the best results in soil.

LST produces finer specimens with better quality (fatter) buds in soil.

All the best

Scrog is best for smaller spaces. LST will be more time consuming and not do any better.

If you get the LST going early it can be almost ass effective as scrog. I was LSTing this last run and did alot of pruning. anyhting that was more than 12" from the top as the stretch started was taken off. this time i have been thinking ahead and removing small shoots that i know will never reach up high enough. saves time and i guess it helps the plant grow where it needs to (i want it to).

I need to take a picture of it cause its hard to describe, but i fashioned a bud spaced out of coat hangers.
bend the coat hanger straight, and make it look N shaped on either end, with both N's starting on opposing side of the wire. you end up with a rigid wire with 2 stem cups on the end. make it longer than you will need because you change the spacing by bending the wire.
get it?
its free standing between 2 stems/colas and you dont have to worry about moving it while it is tied down, breaking shit.

peace
