Is this scrog screen to thick of metal? I see everyone elese using thin wire etc.. I had this left over from an old storage rack. Seems good to me but thought I would ask the experts.
What you have done is good. It's the other people who are doing things wrong. By using the thick metal screen which doesn't bend, you are ensuring that all branches grow on an even level.
Sometimes when using chicken wire that hasn't been stretched and tightened enough, it bends, and the branches become uneven, giving more light to some and less to others.
You are doing well, grasshopper.
I only have one question. what are the dimensions of each hole? Usually 2x2 or 3x3 inches are very good.
Right on. You guys are great. Thanks for the assurance. I have made 4 different grow chambers but this is the first time i have actually got to use one. SO my growing knowledge is very limited. I read alot but their is a big difference between reading and actually growing and solving actual problems as time go's by. I'm sure that was a givin. m@rg
I use a pump pressure water with the spray nozzle removed. It comes out in a nice stream of water. Makes it easy to water due to the long wand it has. I'm still planing on going automatic. Ninja San,
Each opening is 3"x 3".
I had know Idea I was using the better option.
I'm really glad to here from you guys about this. i love herb
SO I could really grow a better crop from 2 plants? that sounds like a good experiment. I will have to use big tubs or something for the dirt right? Would you still suggest this if I were using a recirculating Dwc Hydro setup? I have most of the parts needed to make that kind of setup but I don't want to jump too fast. Thanks again.
MtnJohn good to here from you. You have a hella good cab. Still checking it out. Thanks for the suggestion. I might just have to use a hydro setup similar to yours.
