scroc ideas? ineed 8 inch tops Bogglegum and lifesaver

hey everyone, im scrogging for the second time in a micro cab my total space is 26" by 18" by 7" i have for 2 inches taken for my 100 watt hps then 9 inches for soil then the screen will be 4" above the soil i have 9 inches clearance from light to scrog screen. my tops will have to be maximum height for dense buds so im looking for 8 inch tops maxium for dense buds that gives me an inch clearance from light i have a pelxiglass shield and 1 strong fan in each case exhaust the hot air from the glass my i have 8 inch tops a 7 inch width and 16 inch length so im planning 3 rows 10 buds in each row so 30 buds in each row so my question is how long should i train during 12/12 the Lifesaver and bogglegum dont stretch much so i was thinking training about 1 week into 12/12 and then letting them go so i can acheive my maximum bud height do u think this is to short or should i train longer im not planing on training any longer tthen 2 weeks though i dont think theylle get big enough

Sounds like you should fill almost the whole screen in veg, then when you flip the buds will just grow up 8 inches and viola, I would leave a little wiggle room so that if you need to spread them out and pull htem down more(like if they want to stretch 10 inches?). Now I have no experience with these strains so I can't really judge how they stretch. Let me know how it goes.

Its sounds like a plan i have grown serious bubblegum which doesnt stretch to much, but havent grown bogs or the lifesaver so hopefully someone who has will be along soon. The grow forums seem a little dead today. good luck with the grow!

Man, that's really a tight fit ya got goin there. Any possibility you can raise the light up so it's flush with the top of your cab? I've seen some folks cut a rectangular hole in the top & put the light over that to shine through the opening. That would buy you a couple more inches. Not sure if IR heat would burn your tops only 1 inch from the light.

im not worried my tops lats time got withing centimeters of my cooltube and onlu suffered mild bleaching this is a stealth grow in a computer case the case cannot be altered due to lanlord reasons i think ive decided to train her for 1 week and if any are getting bigger ill just tye down also i plan on having my screen vegged out totally before 12/12 i want thick branches i will also supercrop each branch to creat fatter buds which is one thing i noticed in my last scrog the buds with the fatter branches yielded way more
