Okey , for flowering im using schultzes 10-54-10 , its obiously too high and strong , i would like it to be maybe 1-5-1 , thats good I quess?

So my question is , to make it 1-5-1 I must use 10 times less than the reccomended ammount on the label ? Thanks for help .

Hiya marguzz
Don't know, but the answer can be found by measurement or by guessing.

If you own or can borrow a TDS meter you can measure EC and PPMs at the recommended dilution, and then figure out how much to give you .4 EC or so and try that.

Without a meter I would try a test at 1/4 strenght, and increase until you and the plants are happy.

Either way, should work fine.

Hmm , 1/4 of the reccomended ammount ? Im soil grower here , it says 1/4 tsp per gallon , then i add 1/4 tsp per 4 gallons ? ?

Agreed JJ. I take it one more dilution cuz I burnt some plants on 1/2 str ferts last year, that was a real surprise.

MandalaMike has found some ferts super hot!

Anyway, that's just me being ultra-conservative with the green babies...

So marguzz - give it a whirl, just keep ur eyes open.... Either way, should be fine...

I still have some of that from a few years back and if I remember correctly (been awhile) went 1/4 to 1/2 strength with no probs in soil, every other watering, for a few weeks at the peak of flowering only. That stuff is a really great bloom booster, cheaper than designer/name brand hydro boosters that's for sure. Recently used it in a pinch on a houseplant as a pH down cuz it's almost pure phosphoric acid lol. PPMs would be you're best indicator as others said.

I used the Schultz's bloom fert 2 years ago. I mixed 1 full tablespoon per gallon. And each plant got 1 gal. per week. I guess I was nailing them hard.

PS- My plants were in the ground, not a bucket.

^^^Yeah that thread scared me at first too lol. 10 times less is a little too little IMO but experience is your best teacher. Don't let mandala mike keep you from increasing the dosage when they can handle it.
