Schrom final pull

This is my second attempt with Schrom indoor. I was not impressed with the smell or taste from round 1, their nutrient needs were much different than anything I've grown.
Overall, 700g+ of primo bud, no larfy, from 1k, 8 plants.

and some plant

The bud has just started the curing process, I let them go atleast 1 month before I even think of really breaking into it. The initial smoke has been sooooo good. Better taste, and a much more intesnt psychadelic stone. The stone is still very Up, clear, and fun, but it is easier to 'over do it' and get stuck inside your own head.

Macro pics are on the way...

Oh yeah.
The oilyness is so weird. The ones I have comin down now are less oily. Im still figuring out the nutes. The oily buds are definitely more potent and smell stronger. I wonder what makes them oily?

Still at it.... schrom is a keeper, for sure, no doubt about it. It does take some figuring out to get her to reach her full potential.
I have no doubt that this clone could be mono cropped, 20 plants under a 1k in a 5x5 area, in 2.5gal pots of soil (veg time would be around 40 days from the day the rooted clone hits the soil using an 8 rack of T5 flouros).... could yield 800g of superior bud.... given that you are patient enough to let her go as long as she needs.
If you could veg under an HPS, in a room that is not perpetual harvest you could probably do better.

Removing lower growth that will not produce nice buds makes a huge difference. And the strange this is that a plant with many, long and thick colas, seems to produce lower quality bud, with not much of an increase in yield.
An untopped, plant will form a very efficient structure, especially if you remove growth before flowering them.

Here are some recent results:
Lower buds (below the half way mark of the plant, close to the main stalk

Again, a lower bud demonstrating how lower bud production can boost yield

Top of a bud from a side branch, super frost
Another "lower" tip of branch

And a shot of the upper part of the plant, 4 rows of 5 of these could go under 1k HPS

I grew the schrom a few years back. amazing smoke...but the smell and taste were really where its at. I know what u mean by oily, for sure! and the smell to me, was like a bag of skittles mixed with some kind of machine grease.
