Hi all
Did a search for a schaartjes thread and couldn't find one... (our original thread was lost to OG) lol

Anyhow: Every now and then we like to put knife to scissor and collect the Schaartjes/Scissor Hash from harvest. The Schaartjes from Haze 19 x Skunk ranks among some of the stongest/most trancy gear we've ever smoked... anywhere in the world, for sure,

Homemade Scuff Recipe - a la DocLeaf

INGREDIENTS:

1 part Schaartjes / Scissor Hash (sticky/fresh)

1 part Kif/ Thricomes (dry)

1 part Flower (dry)


METHOD:

Grind/powder flowers.
Mix flowers with kif.
Mix flower/kif with schaartes.
Work mixture by hand.

Leave to mature...

... Smoke and be Merry

RESULT:

A heavy toke, thick with smoke. Hashish taste and long lasting stone.
This recipe works well when playing with only a little schaartjes

wow what a recipe!! there will be a lot to chop for me in the next few weeks so I will definitely give it a shot. Did you come up with that one on your own or was it passed on by a friend?

Was trying to make something like the scuff a good friend would snatch us from Amsterdam late '90s. (the inevitable happened, him got ink pon thumb)!

While harvesting schaartjes from JH. one day mixed it with the kif at the bottom of a growers bud jar (the stuff he'd otherwise throw away...lol).
The next time round there wasn't enough scissor-hash to stretch to a joint, so we added some well cured bud.

The x3 part mix seems to work ok peace

The term could be anglo English/Dutch/Nordic peace

yea,i have been scraping of my scizzors only for about 30 yrs now.i dont mix crap tho and it seems to be kick ass just the way i do it and scrape scizzors and just put in bong and go to town,cant see much there but it is

I am going to have some sticky scissors pretty soon from my very first harvest. I can't wait!

How do you guys like to collect it? I assume with a knife or razorblade? Do you let it dry out first or what? How do you smoke it?

First of all go get yourself some fiscars trimming shears, they have "non stick" blades and it makes collecting the sticky hash easy. It will build up on your fingers and shears, just roll it up into a ball and smoke it But be prepared for a wild ride

I rolled it up into ball and put it on top of a little bud and smoked it in my pipe

How do you guys like to collect it?

hi Underground

- we allow the trichomes to build-up on the scissor-blades, then scrape it off with a knife.

- you can either scrape when the schaartjes is sticky, or you can allow it to dry on the blades first, then scrap off and collect.

- once collected the hashish needs to be worked, the bottom of a cigarette packet is ideal.

- the hashish can then be broken up and rolled into a joint or smoked on pipe
