Let me start off by saying that most of the damage is caused by heat stressed. Got to hot in my cabinet, and could not get to it soon enough to lower temps, but I'm not trying to get over the fact I fuked up.

As you can see from the pics this little girl is still alive. The clone is still in a starter plug in the fox farms ocean potting mix.

So far I've cut off the bottom of a clean plastic bottle, and sprayed water inside it and placed it over the plant. Good idea, or no?

Basically I'm looking for ideas on what I should do about this clone. What would be the best course of action(reality here) to do to this plant so it will start growing vigoursly again.

Thanks all!

The clone now.

Did this clone have roots?

I am sure it did....

I would not have chosen a rich mix to put a clone in.... I would have let it root a lot first before putting it in there ime....

When you got it did it have roots?

When I recived the clone, yes it had roots going.

I verified with the persons I got it with that I was planning on putting it directly in my soil, they said no prob...

I have two NYC Diesel that are doing great in the same medium. Just this little girl is having issues.

Thanks for the help!

Can you un-earth it gently and look at the roots???

I would transplant it into a dixie cup with a nice gentle soil...Like Light Warrior or Happy frog cut with Light Warrior..... Let the roots rap up in the cup for a while before tansplanting again..........Also if in the soils listed above just give her straight water for a bit to recuperate.....

Just my two cents....

By the way stictch thanks for the feed back the other day much appreaciated....PH is back to 6.7 and the girls are on their way back to health...

If it's got roots, yes it can, but as long as the clone was "hardend off" meaning depending on how it was cloned, weather it was in a dome or not..... depends if you can just put it directly into the soil.

I totally agree with sophisto,
The mixture is too rich for the clone, the roots are fresh, even though it's a clone, the roots are not as weak as a seedlings, but it is sensitive when roots are new.

So I would have put them into a lighter mixture than ffof soil......

Why did you put the soil up so high to the leaves?

Hey np sophisto! Hope I can see some of this bud shots when the time comes :)

sophisto, Stich,

I have placed the plug into a mix of some FF, and some brown bag potting soil. Watered really well and put it in a small container. The clone has a plastic bubble around the pot as well.

When I took the plug out of the bigger pot I noticed the roots have not even penetrated the plug. So it looks like a premature clone I was given... Ohh well, I'll try and save her! :)

Thanks!

Today she is looking MUCH better! I took a peak before I left to work :joint: More perky! Will check back on em when I get home.

I don't remember if I did, but wanted to mention that my girls are on a 20/4 light cycle.

Thanks!

Remember since you watered the soil and have a dome, becareful of mold growth, remove the dome few times a day for a few min to 10 min a a time, doing so wil help you wean your plant from the dome too.
That was what I meant by "hardening" off.

sophisto, taken a turn for the worse! :(

I transplanted like yall said.. all went good.. and then slowly its loosing color, and dying. I dont think there was a good root base at all when I aquired the clone.

I got to thinking.... why leave it under this 400w? So I put it under a 3' 2x20w cool white plus fluro . . . It's been under the cool white fluro for 2 days now.. hopefully she will come back to life!

Stich,
Thanks for the advice. I've been keeping a close eye out for my baby!

Here is two diff views of it.
