Saw an interesting thing today...

Well...Tarkus was on his lunch break from work and we were watching a classic episode of the Simposons when we heard 5 gun shots, one right after another. We peek through the window and see cops swarming our complex and the complex right next door. (It turns out that the police were in pursuit of a man who was thought to have stabbed a store owner earlier that day). Tarkus and I went outside to see what what going on. The suspect had be "neutralized" and at this point they were trying resuscitate the man. He was dead. The police did not mind that we were watching the incident, after the man was killed, so a few other people joined us to watch it all unfold. After 5 minutes, the meat wagon(ambulance) shows up and they load the man up (still trying to resuscitate him). During this time we noticed a few things about the shooting. The man was shot in the passenger side of the vehicle (blood all over the seats) and he was also tazzed. We only knew that because the two pieces of wire form the tazer were still by the vehicle. Also he had plenty of Shiner Bock bottles in his car.

Now, I just got done reading the article that is posted on our town's newspaper website. The only problem is it does not match what actually happened. According to this the officer shot the man once in the chest. Which is not true at all. There were 5 distinct shots and while the man was being resuscitated, there was no blood on his chest. We could not see the above the man's neck, but there was no blood below it so it is safe to assume that he was shot 5 times above the neck. The article also says that the man got into his SUV to drive away. I find that strange since he was shot in the passenger seat not the drivers seat..:nono:

Any thoughts? I thought it was a pretty eventful day. I should add that we were only about 15 feet away from the police and the man.

How do you know all 5 shots hit their target? I don't doubt your story though, sounds like there's some suspicious stuff going on.

Haha that is a good point bounty29. Although, I would rather have an officer shoot a man five times then only shoot him once and send four stray bullets through an apartment complex. If it helps any, there were no bullet holes left on the SUV's exterior.

Thats what the media and police do often these days. It's really sad. Thats a crazy event to witness right there.

The whole time the were giving him CPR they were cool with us watching, hell, the cop that had been standing on our side of the fence had already left at that point. But as soon as they started to clean up and take pictures of the area, a few guys came over and put up a bunch of black plastic on the fence, basically telling us to leave. Now why would they do that after the body was removed?

Haha pops you leftwingnut. And if he were an illegal alien it'll be ruled a national holiday!Could have been you didn't see blood near the tiny entry wound in the chest and if it didnt exit the back little blood would be visable.Or the cops lied again.

That is a possibility. The only thing is we had a terrific view of his chest from the moment we got outside.

You basically never get the straight story from the media. A couple years ago, 2 people were murdered about 80 feet from my place. The guy got killed because of a drug deal gone bad and the girl because,as an innocent bystander, she had tried to help the guy who got stabbed.

When the media came. there were 50 people from the neighborhood standing there, along with 2 dozen cops. The media chose to interview a 60 year old lady, with bare feet and a tattered nightgown on. She had about 5 teeth and the IQ of a box of mildewed Rice Krispies, without the "Snap..Crackle..Pop". That was the expert witness that the public got to hear, a retarded redneck who hadn't seen a thing and knew nothing about the crime.
