When you get old, it is every night home alone. I have watched all the movies, downloaded all the porn on the internet and read both of the books in our local library. Only thing left is to read ICMag. Hell, I am so bored I even respond to Yummybud's thread and read every dipship new thread by Fantomas.

Pops - I suppose I know what you mean, as I know an older man, who's 60ish, who lives alone. Sometimes he goes to the casino at night. Other than that, yeah he just reads and watches movies.

I don't mind solitude though, to be honest. I'm pretty happy with the internet or just reading an interesting book. But yeah, sometimes you wish for more. I haven't been too social at night the past few months it seems... I think I would like to hang out with more people.

Man, that's a hell of a note. All the porn on the internet, no less.

But seriously, I'm with y'all. Was gonna go out and see some live music tonight (that and growing/ICMag are my two favorite things these days), but it's cold out and so much easier to sit here with the bong. I'd like to go out more and meet some new people, as my interests are differing from the company I've been keeping. It's just a bit intimidating out there. Oh well. Back to refreshing the 'Active Topics' page :joint:

I'm as good as alone as my girl has a bunch of girlfriends round, at this point I'm good for drinks service and my stash! :chin:

I moved from coast-to-coast a while back to be with a daughter who was sick. Left my friends, other relatives and people I knew. Now stuck in a small town where I know nobody. As I grow, I can't afford to invite neighbors over. Just waiting until I can save up enough money to get the hell out of here.

I do see a few people, the patients that I grow for. Some are old like me and a few are young. It's sad to see a young girl in her 20's with cancer. Poor thing is back in hospital with kidney failure.

I just broke my ankle and fractured my tibia so I'm not going anywhere for a while.

Thanks TC and A.N.Other. In some ways, it is really good for me to grow for patients. Sometimes you get to feeling sorry for yourself, in the situation that you have. I'm 62 and have had 7 heart attacks, yet I look at some of the med patients that I am supplying and I think that I am pretty well off. Some have cancer, some have disabling conditions and some are just psychologically fucked up.

Damn, Space Ghost, I'm sorry to hear that. With a broken tibia, you are going to be in a cast for about 8-12 weeks. Usually they won't even give you a walking cast for a weight-bearing bone.

I spent 8 weeks in a walking cast for a broken fibula and it wasn't fun. Can you get around much?

SG, if you have a plaster cast on, one of the things that is going to bother you a lot is the itching later on. As skin cells die on the surface of your skin, it itches like crazy. I had to get a ruler and stick it down inside the cast to scratch the itch.

You will also find that when your cast is finally off, one leg(the uninjured one) will be bigger around than the one with the cast. Looks a little funny until you exercise and build it up. Just remember to put full weight on the crutches, and not on the leg itself.
