Saturday morning quick wash

Got up this morning and decided a quick wash was in order. Just did a small batch with some trim and leftovers.

Good stuff SaintVicious, you should strain it through a coffee filter next time before you let it evaporate.

Yea I use a coffee filter sometimes, but when Im just doing small batchs I dont worry about plant material and stuff, I just use a small metal strainer.

Lol, I do agree tho, that a coffee filter is better than what I used today, but I just didnt go that extra mile. You know what I mean

Here's a little oil I made, backlit and viewed through a microscope (45 power). You can see the impurities. I used a cottom filter, but not a coffee filter. I shoulda.

i use double coffee filter paper usually, and have used quad when i did unpurified kif. seems better to purify the kif, rather than use more filters tho..

I tried making some last night and feel like i failed,i shook up the jar with iso,ice,and trim for 1 minute and then started straining,it was taking way too long prob like 4 or 5 minutes later and there was still alot of iso in the jar not straining fast enough,should i run through a metal screen or something first so the iso isnt dissolvin the plant material for so long?
