Soil grow
good soil from the local hydro shop
rich in peat 25% perlight and 10% var and more good things
seedling was smooth 7/7 pops in 4 days.
1 month veg
5 female:friends:
2 male

they are now in day 55 to flower
and they look just fantastic!

I tested little popcorn today that i saved on everyone of them, just a little bit for testing.

Looking good, presilia! What kind of nutes are you using in your soil grow? I'm growing Satori for the first time and was warned that they can't take strong nutes, yet I find that they can take anything I throw at them!

Nice looking little set-up. I have grown, and still have a mother of these. Good stuff. Pretty long flowering period, but worth it.

Im using BIO BIZZ organic nutes.
BioGrow - for veg, when they are young i put small dose, full dose in the last week or 2 of veg.
BioBloom - start in small dose and increase to full dose, slow..
TopMax - the same here.

60 days in flower
10 days left and HARVEST!
they sure look like they need the 10 days, maybe ill give them a few days more... only 10-15% of the hairs are amber.

I don't think ill flush them.
its the most productive stage the last 2 weeks for the satori.
they are boosting at full speed now, it will be unfortunate to flush.
I'm using BioBizz organic, so i think it will be fine without the flush.

Very nicely done Presilia. You're going to love the Mandala smoke. A great plant to keep around.

But from those pics, I'm not sure they'll be finished in 10 days. A loupe or well zoomed pic of the trichs will reveal if they're really ready. Looking nice and frosty though.

I've done a couple of rounds with this strain and have taken them to 11 weeks w/fantastic results.... Normally, even at 11 weeks, only 30 to 50% of the hairs ever changed color... You should be good to go at day 77 no matter the percentage of pistols withering...IMexperience growing out Satori...

...and great job!! They're looking excellent and are hearty yielders too, with a distinct taste, smell and buzz... Enjoy!!

the Satori on mandala's site don't look that amber anyway, so 77 days will do the job.
its not the perfect grow environment, very small space w/ 250W hps.
so i would expect that it will take longer.

update

day 70

Today is the day that im suppose to harvest.
but i think ill let them a little longer.

I have 5 girls but i think one of them went hermie on me.
i smoked some popcorn and i found 1 big dry seed. it was from the spear pheno.
but the high was very strong and stunning, up high and creative feel.
im a drummer and i can say that it was fun to be stoned on stage with the satori
but later on ill post a full smoke report.

Presilia was my first first plant. 4-5 years ago.
i had a seed that was from a friend and he said that that seed is something special.
so i named my baby "presilia" like "priscilla presley" and "priscilla queen of the desert".
and she was a butty! bud very bad grow...
so from that time im "presilia".

I have very simple camera. sony DSC S600 72 DPI.
The closeups are made by x4 zoom from the camera + a magnifying glass x8 close together.

I just recently paid $36 for an Eyeclops Bionicam from Jakks. (That included shipping, btw)

It's kinda a pain in the ass to focus because it's handheld... but it'll zoom 100x, 200x and 400x. Here are some examples from today:
