I'm hoping that the collective knowledge of forums like this can prevent big pharma from getting a production monopoly on medicines like these.
To my knowledge, there is less than a handful of cannabis operations with the technical ability and capital to produce these medicines in wholesale quantities. For example, Guild Extracts produces 99%+ crystalline THCa and CBD in serious volume. We need operations like those to go one step further and make aerosol preparations suitable to the medical community.
Sativex is a 1:1 THC/CBD aerosol preparation
Epidiolex is a pure CBD aerosol preparation
HU-331 is the real magic though. A proven cancer drug synthesized from CBD through an oxidation reaction to form a quinone. At its current market price of $46 per MILLIGRAM, I would think there is sufficient financial incentive for someone like Guild Extracts to enter the cancer drug market.
Anyone here have info on converting THC/CBD to aerosol form? Something similar to Berner's Invisidab?
