sativa's outdoor nute hungry?

So I've got an outdoor (GH) grow going right now and I can't seem to pin down an issue I am having. I am now starting to wonder if these big sativa dom strains, outdoor bushes are just more nute hungry than I am used to...?

I was having an issues that I thought was Mg def and it seemed to respond to cal-mag, epsom treatment but 1 week later it has returned.

My growth is inches a day and there does not seem to be any other issues so I don't want to keep turning up nutes/Mg for no reason and potentially over do it.

My issue is the lower fan leaves only are turning yellow and falling off with what looks just like a Mg def. (yellow leaf green veins) almost all of the affected leaves are original growth fan leaves (connected to main stalk) Are these sativas just done with these leaves now and shedding them?

uhh if its only the bottom, real low fan leaves, then thats normal, its just the plant killing off the leaves that arent getting enough sunlight and wants to focus more of its energy on plant production higher up (tops)....

but if its like your largest fan leaves half way up the plant, getting good light, then maybe it is a deficiency, you might get a better response in the infirmary

it's possible they will begin to flower soon, could be in response to that. i'd say feed em but it sounds like you already are. i wouldn't worry too much if the new growth looks healthy. it's normal for older plants to drop their original fan leaves.
