Sat on some seeds

A friend gave me some seeds, and I found some seeds trimming. Put them in a little plastic bag which was put inside my wallet. I rarely put my wallet in my pocket.

Lately I kept noticing the seeds in my wallet and I would say to myself "got to put those seeds away" but something else always took my attention.

Well, today I placed my wallet inside my back pocket, hopped in the car, drove to pick stuff up. Came home just now, realized what I did.

Seven split and squished seeds. They look flat to me. Two dark seeds and 4 light green, 2 of which are extra fresh.

Any tips on what I can do to save these? Will they germinate now that the outer hull has been smashed? Help!

nope if the seed case has split/cracked/smashed there toast . The Light colored seeds are immature and most likely would never have sprouted anyway. If the dark one's are intact they may germ.

Unfortunately, I'd say they were toast. I'd love to be proved wrong in this case, though!
