I have two Sanyo mini-split systems (KHS 1872 & KHS 2472) and I'm trying to figure out how to program their timers for the lights out period. Rather than a thermostat like most house HVAC systems where you can control certain temps for certain times, the Sanyo's only allow you to time them to either be on or off.
I want to have the temps at 82F during lights on (burning CO2) and for the temps to be 74-76F during lights off. The problem I have is that my dehumidifier and reservoir chiller for my RDWC system both put off a significant amount of heat. So if I program the mini-split to shut off, the heat from the dehumidifier and chiller threaten to drive temps up into the high 80s during lights out...just the opposite of what I want.
I've read the manual front to back and it seems stupid that I can't set it to 82F for one time period and 74F for another.
Unfortunately, since I have a sealed room, I cannot vent the heat from the dehumidifier or chiller outside...nor can I move them to another location.
Anyone familiar with these units and/or any suggestions?
TIA,
Jcom
