Anyone ever wonder what the real deal w bho is? ..What butane residue remains in it? .. carcinogens? ...how much THC? ..is anything else extracted?

I sure as shit do. Therefore i am going to be submitting a sample to a private lab to find out exactly that.

The equipment these guys have is off the charts. Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, the whole nine. I will get my sample on Monday and get it to the lab next week. They will process it as soon as possible.

I haven't heard anyone else attempt this so i'm pretty curious. If anyone else knows where it has already been done i would love to see it and i'll call off the testing. If not, let's find out.

I'll publish the result as soon as i get em.

Crossing my fingers b/c i know butane has some pretty nasty stuff in it. I know the worst is vaporized during combustion (i.e. lighters) but i am not so convinced when it comes to evaporation.

Budgenius is a company that is doing some lowcost analysis on flowers, concentrate, and edibles. you can go on their site and check out their database of results. Seems legit because I read a while back that BHO was around 72% THC and Bubble is like 35%. You can see these numbers vary slighty but that is all. I am beginning to believe that the nature of oil will always leave a residue behind(coke).

I'm far from an expert on bho but I do know that harmful residual from the extraction process will depend on how many washes there were in the processing and the quality of the gas used (3x filtered etc.)

Anyone out there running DWC or Aero when the power went out? I had to reset all my mechanical timers but was untouched otherwise.

"how many washes" is what I believe to be the clue that many overlook.

Guys I have a friend who works for H&M and she could prolly hook you guys up. We go out about once a month on 3/4 days. Last run I got 7 yellowtail, 4 sculpin, 4 barracuda, and a bass. Love some sculpin though!!

As far as the oil goes i am sure that good oil is 70 - 80% THC; what i am testing for is exactly what chemicals besides THC are in there... and their quantities... exactly.

^^^ understood but my argument is that oil like mine contains lower amounts of any chemicals then a oil only purged to a amber oily gooey BHO... so it depend on how good your purge is to whats left behind...

from my understanding the texture or how "gooey" your end result will depend more on lipid content of the flower/trim used in extraction and has nothing to do with butane residue.

To make the above shown I assume you used mature flowers, preparing them carefully as to not rupture the gland heads thus preserving the lipid content. looking good man

I think it all depends on the strain.... Earwax doesnt mean yours is more purged...you can actually tell the amber version is more purged when you have it in a glass plate and look at in the light....you can see zero bubbles from the tane...with the earwax you cant do that...i have Iranian genetics that auto budder and will not turn oily no matter how over purged you do it...then i have sativa strains fully purged and are like sticky wet syrup...ive made oil with over a 75+ different strains this year alone....

yes indeed the above wax was made with 100% flower no trim, i dont no all the logistics just know that if you grind your flowers or trim up you end up with a much darker oil that sumtimes will never budder, i personally like the budder better just for the simple fact its easy to work with and doesnt make any kind of sticky mess and i can put it in anything without havng to worry about it stickin to plastic or having to carry it on wax paper.

very true indeed i have run strains that turn budder quicker then others, and i have also heard that sativa dominant strains will not budder,

so i got this new toy its called the iVapor rx its a vapor pen that charges via usb and has a cartridge. the cartridge is filled with said to be 86% thc CO2 extracted hash oil. screw in the cartridge and push the button and inhale, pretty cool shit to have to medicate anywhere the thing looks like a e-cigg so super lowkey and the smell is hardly like marijuana.each cartirdge is said to contain 150 hits, this i doubt maybe more like 60-90 depending on tolerance of the patient.two good rips gets you pretty medicated... i guess theres only limited strains of oil cartridges you can get , sour D, OG kush, and Girlscout cookies, guess its the newest shit coming out of NorCal im sure they will be in a local club near you soon

Hi guys, I usually dont butter or wax my concentrate. I like it as concentrated as possible, Just never felt the need to add air. I can usually work my stuff by hand if quick though I have all the glass utensils needed for oil. I also can make above cartridges, I have the cartridges and the refill kit. Have had a volcano e-cig for about a year and have used various tinctures and what not through a drip tip. you have to have the ratio right or you can jack the atomizer.

Here is my last run of oil

Consider that the above oil kept shape under hot light while taking multiple pics in order to get one somewhat in focus and it is all Jack the ripper for my medicinal purposes. I usually melt the extree down and put it in these and take them to the collectives.

MITO- check the picture i just edited in in the last post the cartridges are supposed to be disposable and non refil-able, and supposedly it only works wit CO2 extracted hash oil, this is coming from the guy thats partners with the dude who makes it so it could be BS... i would like to eventually be able to fill my own cartridges with my own BHO unless there is a proven reason to why BHO cant work,

There was some Mango at 48%THC 23%CBD and 12%CBN.

With all their samples in regards to chemical residue, Bud genius has found no residues in any of their Nectar.

Cause i couldn't find it. I am not sure bud genius is the most accurate testing as I notice they offer limited info with their results. No where was I able to find contaminate listings. I am in hurry so I could have overlooked. If this is the case I would not consider this a viable testing center, unless your just looking to brag about THC....not that theres anything wrong with that!
