Sutter County is still refusing to implement the State ID card system based on conflict with federal laws. Ive searched but cant find any info regarding what penalties SD County had and the costs of them fighting that losing battle. I want to repost the links/stories in my local paper to show those sheep shearing bible thumpers that fighting state law isn't in the best interest of the counties residents. Can i have some help?

You will have a very hard time, the SD Union Trib is very anti cannabis and will not post beneficial stories about Cannabis, nor will they publish any statistics on how much money has been wasted in the government by the local sups trying to fight it.

They like to post headlines like "America's pot use has increased death by the Mexican Cartels" Instead of America's Draconian pot laws giving a black market to the Mexican drug cartels."

You might try some more of the local papers, just google for things like pacific beach newspaper, ocean beach newspaper things like that and see if you can find a suburb rag that will post the real numbers and facts. I know that they spent hundred of millions of dollars but its been a few years since Ive read that statistic and I do not remember off the top of my head where I read it.

I know people in SD with state issued cards bro. As far as the penalties...don't grow over 100 plants, don't grow outdoors in plain site and don't go selling to the kids at the local high school. Even with the card I'd still play it like it was still illegal. :joint:

Calcio - you said it... keep it under 100 evenif you own a collective because it gives the feds every reason to get involved... collectives will keep running and keep getting popped once a year if not more. Right now the city is sending around "inspectors".. ie fire marshall, city bulding inspectors, water inspectors, etc.. to collectives trying to shut them down that way. Make good friends with your landlord if you're renting and keep the smell down, dont let ANYONE know you're growing or WHERE you're growing, and for godsakes dont sell stuff on craigslist and *********.
