So if a clone is supposed to be the same exact of its mom. is there a way where the clones will grow slower and smaller then each other. i have a couple clones that came from the same mom but different growth rates and size.

what exactly are you saying?

all are growing at different rates or the entire set of clones are growing uniformly, but not as vigorous as mom?

If one had a better root system developed than others it would grow faster. If they are in different pots, the PH could be different, causing different growth rate. It could be a number of things. Need more info.

There is no supposition to this, as you will understand ..one day, obviously theres way to many variables in the mix to compare,
not happy with your dysfunctional clone ...

Depends on where you cloned the plant, tops grow different to the bottoms and different from the middle parts of the mothers.

It's to do with hormones and their particular concentration in the selected propagation material.

This cutting technique is able to make fast rooting plants, squat plants and plants with more vigorous branching.

To get multiple clones that perform evenly you need to grow a mother into a small topiary bush topping it out regular.

True clones are not 'cuttings' but 'micropropagules', these can be made from the same part of the plant and are more consistent.
