Sam_Skunkman's dry sift method

For sure, I could see that. Instead of doing it with the same size when you refine.. go down one step and do it. That's your call though, since you said you don't care too much.

The ones Foomar shows are not the cheap kind I dont think. The place I get my labware from has them there all kinds of MIC sized screens they can't carry them all so special order. There made very well high quality materials.. im sure you could find some cheap but not like the ones form the lab.

I'm not sure it matters. It will not produce quality and quantity like my method.

When it comes out, what you're showing us will be ancient history. Sorry. lol.

only matters to yourself. Kind of like using a Mobius or a US Bong. Typically lab grade stuff cost more.. Specs and all that jazz some of these are NIST traceable. I would not be surprised when labs learn how to do this they will be using the high end materials to produce..

lol you're reading way to much into it. Some like to use quality Screens to get there Kief Some dont...It was just an example of quality

Speaking of quality.. do you have any macro/microscope shots of what you make?

I'm curious, now.

Also, how do you know that i'm not using quality screens?

I don't recall ever telling anyone what I was using.

Im not making anything for anyone. this is not my discusion its yours and ????I just like the screens Foomar is using..I make it just for myself . Its usally Absolute

I was just curious.. you said people want to use 'quality' to get their kief, implying what I was doing wasn't. In fact the company I get from is using some of the finest material in the world.

I'm just confused by things you said. You are free to use whatever method you want, man.

lol not at all. im speaking of the apparatus used..Like I said you read way way to much into that. Not everyone is out to get ya lol.. None of my post's indicated I was implying your quality of you kief was substandard.. I was only taking about the screens Foomar used it was a general statement about those type of screens LMAO...

Good Luck

Yeah, i'm talking about the screens too, big guy. How do you know what i'm using if I haven't told you? In fact, I would argue they are not good for sifting based on the sheer way you have to handle them.

Hey DSW, I think you missed my last questions:

Is the material free to pass all the way through the screen?

Assuming the screen is in a horizontal position, do you do anything to the bottom side of the screen?

Hi EsterEssense I think you also missed my question a ways back:

The purest #1 drysift smells peppery, without much ganga smell or taste....
Freezing doesn't help it is to cold.

Hmmm, does your process involve water in some way? How would it still be "dry" sift if so?

Are you not using standard, commonly available screen?

Are you not actually sieving the material with the screen(s)?

Are they really big?

Hmmm, this is not clear.

Are you using the types of screen everyone else does, ie nylon silk screening stuff, or SS screen, etc, or not?

It's clear. Everyone could order these right now if they wanted and have them in a couple days.

It is just a company that I have not read about on here. A company I have been using for 11 years now.
