Release it, release it!! (in chanting mode)

You might get us all to convert to your method.
Plus you'd get the rep for coming up with the idea.

Mack.

roflmao i'm loving this thread, it's getting me ginning my ass off.

ok so dehumy is only for getting the trim right. thanks.

i was thinking you use some naturally vibrating appliance like a washing machine to put the frame on. but that seems to be wrong too. or maybe the screen of an old type tv? has anyone ever dropped a bunch of kiff on a tv screen facing up? that would show you what the static does if anything. still i think all this is over thinking it.

Is your screen(s) tilted at an angle and the material runs down the slope? At an angle the 60 lpi would effectively have smaller openings....? Kinda like how size sorting machines do?

DSW, how did you discover the method? I read Sam did in Africa, Ester learned it, so whats your story?

Is moving air included in the process?

i need to get some screens and do some experimenting.

one of the key points was that it's fast and involves not doing something that we all do, lol.

In rob clarkes hashish book there's a story of guys using two 100 lpi screens I believe in a big metal bowl one stretched over the top and one fitted in the middle. It says the guys would just break up dried flowers over the screen tap it on the sides a couple times and then tilt the screen and tap the flowers off, no touching rubbing or scuffing. It says when all is said and done the resin on the second screen that doesn't fall through to the bottom is about as pure as you can get. Then after that they'd makes 00 an and 2nd grade market hash. Sounds easy enough. Have made some dry sift with a bubble box and an old vibrating oster back massager that would melt but I couldn't say how pure it was I'm sure not 99 percent but it renders me useless everytime with only enough strength for a remote and and a bag of fritos. Good ideas from everyone though, happy sieving.

Yeah.. nothing vibrating or anything.. and yep.. the dehu is just to dry the trim nicely.

Negative, ghost rider.

No air is moving. I learned it here in Northern California back around '03.. kind of on accident.

I keep hearing about this book.. maybe I should get a copy and read it, lol.

As for that method.. anyone tried? I can't see how 2 of the same size screen would work.. but who knows right?

"just heads" is rare, special, and takes time to prepare period.

Spend time with resin, drop your pre conceived biases, and you will see how this is possible.

The picture drysiftwizard posted has been posted elsewhere years ago, no idea why people believe anything will be revealed here. The truth is that this is quality is made by people who WANT TO CONSUME IT.

If you do a decent job trimming your stuff, it's not that tough, and requires zero prep time.

Time is not needed. Like I said, I don't re-card anything. Less than a minute at a time to make 2 wonderful grades.

Funny.. I took those pictures just back in Nov. '11.. not that long ago.. and the only other place I posted them was on FMB.. and recently one other site.

And uhh.. of course people who want to consume it.. make it.

How else are you going to get it?

DSW what did you use to take the photo?

This guy..

http://www.amazon.com/Veho-VMS-001-Magnification-Discovery-Microscope/dp/B001ACKIUO

Been using it for a couple years now without a single issue. Works good.. it's not a true 'zoom', but more of a focus.. works just fine though, all the shots i've posted were taken with it.

It'll do videos as well, if you wanna move the thing around a larger pile of product to show it's not just isolated to one area of the pile. Pretty cool little gadget.

Does the "kinda accident" find mean you discovered the whole process by accident or just the final "step" that we're all missing? Like you already had all the items set up and were using them the "wrong way" until you discovered the brief case from Pulp Fiction that contained the golden secret, lol?

...that's totally what was in the suitcase.....

Just the step. The process was being done by a friend.. and I was like.. wait a minute... and we tried it.. and it worked.

Hmmmmmmmmm...........

Yeah, lol.. I recall one time.. I showed a good friend at the time how to do it.. it only takes like.. 2 minutes to go through the process.. it's not that hard..

Anyways, he was like.. that's it? Wow that's easy.. and sure enough, he couldn't do it, haha.

Screwed up the first 3 times and wondered wtf he was doing wrong.. I had to show him again.. and then he got it. It's a very slight thing i'm doing.. almost don't even know it's happening really.

:p
