Sage & Sour grow + Mother selection

Hello ICmag community! This is my first sort of report here, an ongoing Sage & Sour grow + mother selection.

My equipment:

5x seeds S.A.G.E. n' Sour fem. - T.H. Seeds
60x100x160cm grow room
50x50x90cm Cut/Mother box
2x55W ESL
250W HPS and MH
Biobizz lightmix soil and nutrients.

I started with 5 seeds and got 6 plants out of this, as one seed housed 2 seedlings.
Right now i have:
4 plants in flower (day 8).
2 plants still in veg (they started slower (twins), and i didnt want to trash them). These will go into flower in few days aswell.

Also i have cuts of the 6 plants, some rooted already. These will be kept in veg and as soon as my flower room is free again, the
cuts will take the place. The best cut of course will be kept as mother for the future.

Flower room - still with MH to counter stretch - change to HPS in few days.




The 2 plants still vegging. You can see they are really different. The left one is special already, when moved
this little stem with a handful leaves stinks like nothing i ever had in veg, more smell than some strains during end of flower.

Hey fellow growers! Time for an update.

My 4 plants in flower:


Cuts of all 6 SnS plants:


These were cut from young side branches and put into glasses of water (no other ingredients)
for one week, and when roots started to grow i put them into soil.

I know I'm late on this, but I grew out two S.A.G.E. & Sours about a year ago and loved it! Tasty and potent stuff.

How did the plants progress in the meantime?

Hey. Sage & Sour did quite well, i harvested 14 days ago. Now the stuff cures in glass jars.
I had some problems because i gave too much nutes, but besides that all grew fine.



After the grow and a few test buds i encountered 3 different phenos.
One with pretty basic weed smell, bit fruity and earthy with light smoke, didnt stretch alot and had some side branches.

The next one has a fruity but also pepper/spicy smell, light smoke too. Grew more like a sativa
and stretched alot with almost no side branches.

The last one has a very sour smell, bit like grapefruit, and the taste is not light, its much more earthy/hash like taste when smoking.

The High is overall very clear, i harvested with app. 80% of trichomes milky, almost none amber.

A full report on taste and weight will be posted when the curing is more or less finished.
Finally, the cuts doing fine, but i decided to place them all into the flower room. I topped them once and now they are under 12/12 since 2 weeks.

I want to try some more strains, and my room for flowers is limited,
so no SnS mother for now. The cuts will flower, and the veg chamber will be filled with a new genetic soon.

This sounds interesting.
I have only seen one Sage and Sour up to now and it smoked very light and smooth. No real fruity smell (more like S.A.G.E.), pretty clear high. I cannot really compare.
