Safe to use b22 sockets? Need advice please...

I have come across 10 b22 sockets. I've been looking for the e27 sockets for awhile now and have come up short. Is there any difference between the 2? I tried researching this without much luck... Would love to hear from some experienced peoples. :tiphat:
Also would 10 cfls outputting 1300 lumens each be alright for a few small plants? A mixture between cool white and warm white I was thinking, 5 and 5. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

B22 sockets are for florescent tubes it looks like. the e27's should be extremely easy to find, they're the standard household light bulb socket (in the states, anyway). So long as you get a socket that is designed for your bulb, you should be fine.

As for the lights: that all depends on how much space you have, but yes, that's generally enough for a few small plants. Take a look at Blynx's thread about regular LED's and CFL's. great info on lighting spaces.

Hey man thank you for the reply. I have the types of bulbs I need to use down, it is just the older b22 sockets that were worry me. I'll be keeping my eyes out for the e27 sockets in the mean time. I better start researching safe wiring methods HAHAHHA. Cheers Q3
