SADPx Skunk #1 Freebie x NL = Purple Snow

Here's some pics of a cross made with the freebie South African Durban Poison x Skunk #1 crossed with Northern Lights...all purchased and received last year from Nirvana. This girl is at 5 weeks flower under some low wattage lights. The color is amazing.

I killed one seed but all the others have germed, i lost a couple in the pots but that could have been my fault.

I too just germed a pack of SADPxSk1... 'bout half cracked in the water... none have come up yet though....

Heard about a lot of bad germ rates??

Mine seem to be ok so far....

Yeah, from what I've read the germ rates on these seeds isn't the greatest due to it being older stock. I only got three out of ten to sprout; two males, one female (which hermied). I used some pollen from one of the males on a NL. I wish I'd had better luck with the DPxSk #1, but oh well, they were a freebie after all, and I at least got some genetics to play around with.

I'll probably post more pics around harvest time.

I got the same results so far with the SADP x Sk#1... most cracked in water, only 3 have come up....... must just be older.....

The smell is kinda hard to describe. It's reminiscent of the NL sweetness, but "dirtier", and more pungent, if you know what I mean. I'll let you know how she smells and smokes after harvest
