Sad White Widow

Hello All. I'm a new grower. I'm distressed to see my White Widow get black leaf edges over the past 2 days. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to save this nice little plant? Thank you, Scott.

Looks like it's in Foxfarm Ocean Forest, from the over-nute look of the plant and the Perlite pieces.

DEFINITELY: water it with neutral pH (7.0) water and catch the run-off. Then measure the pH of the run-off.

Looks like an Apollo 11 female that I had - THAT TURNED OUT GREAT.

Once I realized she didn't like the nutes (that the other plants liked), I watered her about 5 times.

She recovered and ended up a lot like Princess, the Grimm Bros' plant that inspired C99.

Is the bottom of the pot above the water line, of the pan you might use to catch the water ?

The plant looks incredibly over watered, thus leaching out whatever nutrients were in the soil. If you have to try and save that plant, let it dry out some and water it lightly but frequently with some veg/bloom food mix.

Hate to say it but best bet is to cull it, the results are going to be greatly affected by the stresses.

One of the biggest problems new growers have is trying a bit too hard.
Either they overwater and/or overfertilize the plants to like growing.
Don't give up and use this as a learning experience to improve upon.

I think it's more important to know why your plant is like this. Give some details to know more. What kind of soil, water, fertilizer, and lighting are you using? 😎

Yeah, more info would help. Looks like some kind of ph or nutrient imbalance.
