Yep anybody who knows me or has read my posts knows how I feel about W. ... still I cant really blame this on him... he is after all basically a low I.Q. trained chimp who's trainers are this very scary multinational corporate power grabbing robber barons.... They like to hide behind Christianity much the same as Al Qaeda hides behind Mohammad or the Wizard Of Oz hides behind a curtain ... Fact is now Canada has a right wing Christian Coalition government in place ... and if the history in the USA is any indication they will start with the path of least resistance as a show of power , and lots of folks who don't know any better will happily kiss away their liberties and freedom .. bit by bit ... for fear of looking weak and ineffective ... add into the equation that the hemp industry threatens the oil and paper industry , as it stands currently, also the pharmaceutical industry, liquor industry etc... and you have an easy mark ...
I doubt that many of us will be directly effected by the seizure on a level as profoundly and revoltingly disgusting as RC and family ... at first ... but whats next ... how long before Canada joins the questionable aspects of The War On Terror?... You guys and gals up north are even more at risk of loss of personal liberties because of the lack of freedoms expressly listed in your Constitution...
My heart goes out to RC and his family ... his imprisonment and loss of livelihood will undoubtedly have long lasting reproductions in his life ... and if the hammer fell in the name of limiting the open exchange of information among adults in a forum where violence, theft dangerous behaviour and harmful drugs was not tolerated to any degree, then this is a sad time for allot of good folks and a sad time for personal liberty and individual rights ... imho.

Everyone's so afraid, but what you've got to remember is that THEY are afraid of US! emery was right when he said it's political. WE constitute a very large, powerful political/economical force, as long as we are semi-organized as we were/are as posters/supporters on OG/CW,ICMAG, etc. They are trying to disorganize us by putting fear in our hearts.

I cant believe that those fucks can do this and get away with it. I thought we lived in a free country where people could talk about anything and not be prosecuted for it. I am not so much afraid of getting a knock at my door .. but I am very concerned about the state of affairs regarding peoples right to choose for themselves what they say or read or write, IMHO my grow , not that I currently have one going for reasons other than this situation, is the least thing I fear loosing and/or being punished for having, that's really nothing new after all, but rather the overwhelming loss of personal rights, liberties and the inherent right to free speech without fear of repercussion if this right is exercised... It is not only in response to this development either and it is decreasingly restricted by any boarders or ideals enjoyed by the people within those borders... It becomes increasingly apparent ,to me, that the goal of a few very rich and disproportionally powerful entities are planning for a One World Government and that they desire it to be a Theocracy out of desire for power and wealth rather than morality.

It's a sad day, indeed. If The U.S. wasn't actively behind this, it can still be blamed for the bust. U.S. pressure on the Canadian government in this area has been extreme. Is it the start of a trend ?
As far as immediate problems go, the only people who truly need to be worried is RC and his comrades that got nabbed. I can't beleive that no one has proposed this yet, but how about a defense fund for RC ? He's compromised his freedom just so that we could grow better Cannabis ! I know I'd kick in a coupla hundred. Anybody want to organize it ? Just an idea -- Alex the Droog.

No matter what happened to OG (and it all seems to be speculative at this point,) there's no way the cops are gonna be kicking in our doors from the IP addresses ,saved or not, on OG. While I miss my friends and aquaintences from OG, I've found a new site, and it's pretty cool. Food for thought...
It seems to me that if there were an arrest (or arrests) it would be for selling seed or growing weed, not for running a website. Further, if the intent was to ferret out and arrest the users of the website, wouldn't LEO just leave it up and running to log as many IP's as possible?

We can talkabout it all we want but until we all are ready to get off our asses and fight for our rights as a whole and not just a few who choose to organize and fight for our rights to smoke and grow then nothing will change.
It has to be a show of force period. A revolution of sorts. From canada to the US. We cant change anyhting by sitting here behind our computers and complaining about laws that we basically are doing nothing to change.
I was a long time member strictly to CW and it was without a doubt a big part of my daily life. I was a small time personal grower who grew not really for the buzz but more for the awe of how beautiful and unique the cannabis plant is. I never had anything sent or grew anything related to mj in my own home. But this situation has made me tear down the few in number plants I had growing at a remote location. Its not a big deal really. I will survive to grow another day. In the mean time I challenege everyone to get off their asses and start educating yourselfs on what we need to do to drive home our rights.
Whether it be state to state petitions or demonstrations I dont really know. I dont know how to go about freeing ourselfs from these bullshit laws. But I am willing to learn and fight and I challenege you ALL to do the same!
Hope n one takes this as any type of attack towards anyone. But fuck my friends it is time. Norml and other associations cannot win the fight to free mj alone. They need supporters not only finacially but for us to speak out.
It might be emarassing to some the idea of protesting or demonstrating. Some might want to keep their marijuana use under the rug becuase of being in fear someone might look at you in a differant light. I say fuck that bullshit. If you truley believe in all things good about MJ we should not be afraid or emabarrsed to fight for it.
Being a American I can feel the noose tightening around our freedoms. I am a pessimist in nature but I truly for the first time was optimistic about the medical marijuana fight and the overall view on mj in the states. We are letting goverments which we support dictate what we do with our lives. It is fucking bullshit man. There are more fucking crooks, thieves and who knows what else running our goverment it is so fucking insane to think that the majority of us US citizens just sit around with out thumbs in our asses allowing this.
Aagain I dont even have the slightest clue on how to organize or get with some sort of organization or movement already fighting for us. I just really think instead of bitching behind the computer we need to go into action. Otherwise everyhting stays the same or worse yet gets worse. Lets not let the gov. fuck us anymore. They are liers thieves and down right fucking shiesters from the word go.
Time to vote the dumb fuck crooks out of office. maybe thats a start go fucking vote and bring every body you can with you. Rent a fucking bus and pile as many people you can in to vote vote vote.
