I was simply wondering if there are any techniques tp keep down the hermie rates,, ive read some where that having soil with high N in the beginig help ..
ARe there any others ?

Anything that keeps the plants environment stabil will be of benefit.... when it doesn't have to battle, stress is at a minimum, allowing her to do what she was intended to do.

FWIW - hermied pot still gets you high / you just want to avoid using any in a breading program or for a mother

Will i notice right away if the plant is hermie ? Does it show it pollen sack right away or will this happen down the road ??

Also ..if the plant truns out to be a female ,can i expect the same yields and potency as if it were the regular strain itself ??

I grew out an OrangeBud-dp feminized and I have mothered it and clone it constantly, and I have not gotten any hermies yet. grinning. Only planted one seed and she was female and realy nice flowering. good luck with your fem seeeds.

I think it depends on the quality, and the technique used to make the fem seeds. Some are better than others. I was told that Dutch Passion have good Femmed seed, although I have no 1st hand experience with them. There are a few in my collection from gifts from good friends...and trades too, but I dont think I would buy any myself...Not that I am saying I am totally closed to them, as there are 2 clones now, I have since found out were from Femmed seeds, now these Jack clones, I aint just gonna dismiss em, Ill let em do their thing...but any cross dressin, and them ladyboys are otta there, lol.
The general consensus is that while they can be useful, and work ok given a near perfect enviroment, with all bases covered, this wont always be the case, especially for a 1st time/less experienced grower, and this is why they have a bad rep. On top of that there are some pretty shoddy ones about, not done properly, and only done to be able to charge double. So You rolls the dice and takes ur chances.......

Right .. For my first Indoor grow i grew out 20 Skunk#1s Femned , and they all looked great untill i was BUSTED !! A Fuggin Heating and Air guy narced me and my boy out .. But up untill then they were carrying them ,along with 2grand worth of equipment away , they were beautiful..
Again though .. when i put them under 12/12 , will i be able to tell right away if their boulder ballin or will i have to wait and found out ?

It could be either way m8....I know that some generally do it la8er on...and a lot of strains have a tendancy to do it l8 in flower anyway...but I cant give a positive answer.

Man , this punk could see my lights thorugh a crack in the wall which i THOUGT i had taped up .. It was terrible day afterwards when i heard the thunderous roar of the pigs rolling into my crib .. oh well .. you live and learn
