so i have some bud pics, not all strains are pictured, those will be released as they finish. the sage is dry, and i am experimenting with doing the trim when wet on the hindu and blue mystic (gonna test dry time, and see if the hash potency is affected by early trim). in all i will feature blue mystic, sage, snowcap, hindu kush, strawberry cough, honeybee (pineapplexdawg), amnesia haze. maybe some g13xhashplant. here goes. click lon the images to see original size.

sage

blue mystic

hindu kush

next week will be snowcap, strawberry cough and probably honeybee. and in like 4 more weeks (gd 15+ week strain) youll see some amnesia haze.

thanks for the encouraging words! and i have no problem with you throwin som pics in here, always like to see strains that im growing grown by other people! the differing results are cool to compare. believe me, you wont be disapointed with your results. this plant was probably the best yielder of the indica dominants i did this round. also, if you use purple maxx this has a good chance of going purple (my fan leaves did after application). as far as the taste goes, i only had a little sample before the nugs went into cure, but i was pretty happy with what i tasted. i used Advanced Nutrients sweetleaf this run which i think conrtibuted to the flavor greatly. the first taste i experienced was a fresh, clean flower taste. i imagine if i were to rip a bowl of flower petals it would taste like this. at the end of the hit the freshness is followed by a haze type woodsy taste. i think this is what is going to come out more after cure (at least i hope so). in addition, it is supposed to have a very high thc % so if you have the ability to keep your hands on this strain, i recommend you do it! enjoy your run, i know im lookin forward to my next run with this strain.

my top cola (small plant) just under an 1/8th

nice one S.R, im also using sweetleaf for the first time, though mine has the pic of a koala on it, is that the same as yours? Anyway mate, thats an awesome bud pic there too....i like. Thanks for sharing your pics.

peace

oh...i forgot to say that since ive been using sweet leaf the plants have a more intense aroma to them and it must work wonders in the taste department aswel.

take it easy

yeah my sweet leaf is the one with the koala on it. and as far as aroma goes, i definately agree. i found myself smelling plants repeatedly because the smell was such a nice sweet flower smell! and let me tell ya, the mendo purps i ran this time came out with some of the wildest, most powerful taste i have ever tried. sweetleaf is the way to go! you should try and get your hands on some of the purple maxx if you like things that make a noticeable difference. don't EXPECT purple, but it could happen. the biggest thing is how much trich coverage it promotes. literally three days later i was blown away by trich coverage. beside, anything comin out of the emeral triangle has to have some clout. id say they are the most knowledgeable in the world after all!
check back tomorrow, cause i will be trying to upload (studying for finals so time permitting) some pics of the snowcap, some strawberry cough, and possibly the honeybee (youll see the dawg in it no doubt).

okay, so i made it through my winter finals! here comes spring quarter and beautiful southern california weather. here is a picture of the finished snow cap, and one quick one of the strawberry cough right before harvest. the honeybee just finished, so there will be some pre curing pictures in about a week, maybe as early as thursday. thanks all.

a quick report on the snowcap. there was a discussion in some other thread about the snowcap (mine is the helping hands cut) and someone said alpine skunk for its taste. this is spot on. the alpine/minty smell was very much there during the grow, but when the bud was finished and i cured it for a short time the skunkiness really came out. nice dense buds for how far away from the light i had it. we're going to post a report on the strawberry cough tomorrow, and the elusive honeybee pics should be up wednesday night. smoke report shortly after. thanks all.
