rw or coco cubes for first try at coco slabs?

which is better to use?

i want to set them on top of coco slabs but am unsure if the roots will smoothly transition to the slab with the coco cubes, whats on the bottom of those things?

if im going to try coco i figure it would be best if the cube and the slab are the same material/consistancy and from what i can tell the coco slabs and cubes tend to not match up. but a coco cube on a coco slab sounds like a match made in heaven.

ive seen mainly rw cubes on top im guessing there is a reason.

I think your probably okay with either dude, I can say for sure that rockwool is very forgiving though. Just make sure you hit them with some 5.5 ph water before you set your clones or seeds.

I've used small pots with huge holes at the bottoms or bottom simply cut off, but I find RW cubes stop gnats better and are easier to manage... My 002
