Bout day 61, yeah its under fluorescents...not too shabby eh?
Smells really really skunky, when you open the door you are shot with skunk, I wonder what people are thinking when I've had the door open and they walk into the room later. :joint:

enjoy.

Ok, I just noticed, (looking at those pictures up close) there are some amber trichomes, so that means chop is soon, but I have a question... Is it ok to chop the top part and leave the rest to keep going because the rest doesn't look quite as ready as the top.

Looking good ole boy! Maybe 10 more days? Give here some side lighting on the bottoms to fatten her lower buds up a bit. Damn nice job for t-12s!

AHHH theres the side lighting!!! Shes a BEAUTY!

OH and yeah, cut the top, let the bottom go another week or so. It will fatten up a bit.

you think the top is ready? just curious how you decided that i should now... I think it wont hurt to let the top go the rest of the weekend just for good measures.

Interesting, if she smells very promising I would definately think about revegging her to flower her out again, or keep a mum.

Leave the bottom 1-2 sets of nodes on when you harvest, and put it under 24hr light and give it high Nitrogen veg nutes when it dries out.. You can trim the rootball, but i have never found it necessary, it jus takes longer to dry out between waterings.

Good luck and enjoy your skunky herb.

Let it go at least 10 more days there are too many white hairs, give it time to fatten up some.

thanks for everyones input.

beancounter- i was thinking about revegging but im kinda clueless on what to do with that exactly.

Just harvest part of plant leaving some foliage and bottom buds. Turn lights back to 24 hrs on and give them plain water for a week or two then just feed them whatever you use during veg. Wait about a month and the plant should start popping out some funny looking leaves. Good luck

here's where I would cut.. right above the 2 bottom nodes, altho one node would probly do, the more the better... It's hard to see exactly where the arrow is pointing because of the leaf in the way..

After cutting jus put the lights on 24/0 veg cycle, and when she dries out water her with about 1/2-3/4 strenght veg nutes high in N...

It's as simple as that... Don't make it any harder than it is, jus cut her when ready (another week or so), and slap her under full time lighting, and feed veg nutes when it needs watering.. You should see somethign happen at about 2-3 weeks..

good luck.

Looks great... I've grown under a bank of fluoros before with good results, too. Nice to see you post pics to show people. One day when you go with an HID, you'll be cooking!

Everyone's harvest preferences are different, but in my opinion, I'd let the entire plant go another 10-14 days and start flushing her soon. When you chop the top, you might consider letting a couple lower buds go longer, but I actually prefer to take everything at once... then you get an idea for how the buds taken at different stages differ in potency, hightype, density, etc.

Peace-

i think i am going to harvest the top today. I bought a microscope from radioshack and looked at some pieces i cut off and they have mainly amber and clouby trichs.

EDIT:looked at another portion and they are mostly cloudy, they got more to go.

nice looking grow buddy :joint:

Hey Rusto.

Sweet bagseed find.

I had some bagseed that ended up smelling like the inside of a dead cows colon.

I think you can really do better with those Flos if you tip her over in veg to expose more shoots to light and develop more complex bud sites down the sides of the plant.

Might want to try it..

Best,

OL
