Rust/Black Spots

I have two plants each with its own abnormality that I haven't been able to diagnose and was curious if anyone else had any opinion.

3 Days into Flower

top one almost looks like nute burn or nuts on the leafs. or could be a P def.
the middle pic looks like a cal/mag def of course these could also be a PH issue, but knowing you i doubt that....that spotting is cal def im betting, increase ur cal suppliment.
that bottom pic...well that just looks nice.

I guessed the Cal Mag thing but figured since I'm literally at the bottle rec. dosage that I'd be set. Apparently that plant wants some more.

possibly fungal
p-def would be even more remote, more on the first pic but not on the second, Ca if anything but usually starts more at the tips, not inner main veins.
Do you have high humidity?

Starting to see it mildly on a few others:

Overall, everything looks great but these problems creep and can become big in no time.

Can't tell whether I should give them their first Flower feeding with an upped dose of Cal Mag or flush with tap water only.

They are due for some water today regardless.

We got this. Says on the bottle it treats rust spots and is beneficial even if it doesn't solve the problem

rust doesn't seem to be spreading but it hasn't been that long to see full results yet.

Did a ton of pruning and took some pics of the only other abnormalities I could find.

hey headiez.,i have similar problems with the spots.,it happened a couple days after it went in to flower.,others are thinking it may be a mag def also.,was wondering if the cal-mag worked for you?? and if so please let me know if you added it to your nutes or when you flushed.,thanks

Not mag def. You're locked out, and I'm guessing low pH or high N.

Small speckles = K lockout, Scorched edges= poss. Zn problem, Blotches= Calcium issue.
Watch out on that neem oil- don't overdo it. It's not going to help the problem you have, either.

well this is all new to me and havent gotten ph meter yet.,im using holland secret nutes..ffof soil.,but one problem that was just thought about is i have hard water.,actually no water softener at all.,lol not really any speckles more spots that are brown in more of the tips and center of leaves towards middle to top of plant.,that is in my flower.,ones in veg have very little of that but more of tips going downward and discoloration(like light green outer edges and darker almost purple in center) and also the top ones in veg have a taco look to them.,like the ridges part is whats curling up on the sides

What's your runoff pH looking like?

I did about 1/3 of a flush using PH adjusted water (using the 1:3 ratio I should of put about 300 gal through it, but only did 100) last week.

Waited for them to be thirsty again, and after noticing no real advance of the problems, fed them full as usual (including Cal Mag and Nitrogen as i have been from the beginning). The ph of the runoff was 7.0. I'm starting to think I should of flushed again.

When the problem first started occurring we tested the tap water ph and it was hi- 7.6.. since the flush we have been PH adjusting to 6.5-6.7 ish.

Seeing the various problems that each point towards different def. I'm really thinking I'm in lockout mode. Suprisingly enough, growth and bud formations continue at a very nice and noticeable pace but I'm very worried about this continuing.

Assuming this is lockout, and knowing what I've already done- whats my best option? Wait until they are thirsty again and do a real flush? Should is there something I can get to help clear out the salt buildup besides just ph adjusted water?

You can use any commercial 'clearing' solution like Clearex; I use a weak solution of humic acid to accomplish the same thing.
If you are in flower, you should REALLY be holding back on the N and giving just a bloom nute.
If you have evidence that your tap water is quite hard and high pH, again, I suggest a fert with humic acid in it to help prevent buildup of salts while also stabilizing pH in the high 6's. Pure Blend Pro is one. TopMax is another.

Correct full flush is:
-Determine runoff pH and decide on target runoff pH.
-Make up flush solution at a pH slightly overkill for what your runoff should be (if runoff is 5.5 and you want 6.5, make up flush at 7.0 for example).
-Run ~3x the volume of the pot equivalent in flush water through the soil.
-Finish by watering with a solution of 1/4 strenght base nute (in your case, the bloom nute) at the target pH
-Watch the plants be happy

ok i got a ph pen on its way didnt realize the importance of it as i am new., so thanks for the help as i have done more research and studied my nutes a little better i do now believe that im getting close to lockout and will hopefully get things back on track.,thanks

Well I just finished the 7 hours it took to flush all 270 gal of PH adjusted through the girls (actual number should of been 320 but after 7 hours I figured 270 would do just fine.) and ending with the last 10 gal full of 1/4 strength flower nutes

Watering made even more fun by the fact that I have this monster sea of green and have to go commando style under the canopy.

Now that its done I get to sit back and hopefully watch my ladies return to perfect health.
