Rust and eagle calws....

you got it right bro, it definetly looks like a phos deficiency to me.
It doesnt looks like a nute burn to me at all....so you got it right the 1st time.
Give that girl what she wants! And next run with ur ladies you wont hve to run into the same problem.
When i 1st started growing which was along time ago i was always scared i might burn them when i would feed em. But then i realized i never ever burned 1 plant but i have definetly under fed them all the time.
When you feed them in soil (atleast my Mandala Sadhu) i get the ppms up around 1800 and they stay lucious green the whole way thru flowering.
So give them a good amount of food, they need to eat just like anything else.
Good luck bro

Awesome....good to know DBM....Thanks alot for the response.\\

I figured a Nitro burn because an old timer once told me that nute burn will look like yer leaves have actually been in a fire....so..

But thanks again,,,,I hit some of them with some High phos guano,, they have gained some color, but still have the claw, and look a lil burnt...Maby I didnt hit em hard enough:confused:

Ive never had this prob outdoors in the ground...

That plant needs a bigger home.
You're seeing deficiency/tip scorch symptoms more severely because your soil chemistry is fucked from the pot being too small for the size of the plant. That plant looks about 3 feet tall with several main stems... flush and feed first, let dry slightly... transplant to 5 gallon pail... lots of drain holes... fresh soil... go go go!!! :D

Okay cool, never mind then lol.
Did you prep the planting site in any way, such as breaking up the ground in a circle that you would predict would equal the drip line of the plant, and mixing in organic material down a couple feet at least? Rotted compost and bat guano are a great way to prevent the plant running out of P during flower.

Yep prepped the soil....Added Soil moist water polymers with micorizaaaahyyye (I dont know how its spelled)....Added a coupple tablespoons of Osmocote (chem),,,Plus they have been getting fed through a hose end feeder with all purpose(High nitro) plant food.....so..Even top fed kelp, castings, and now, am on my 2nd topfeeding of High P guano (feeding 12 days appart).....

Another thing thats weird, is that other plants,,(same strain and all) are doing just fine under the same conditions,,getting the same feedings...Its fuckin weird as hell...

Heres a healthy one.

It starts out as rust patches that form in spots(symmetrical down alond each leaf finger at the serrations, and worsens by burning the tip, and working inward...No yellowing just rust and death...Until the whole leaf is crispy and gold.....

Huh! Yeah those other plants really are the picture of health.
Is there anything to suggest that the spot your sick plant is in was close to a buried rotting pine log or something of the sort that would change the soil pH nearby or scavenge nitrogen as it rots?

Nope...No diffrence between planting holes...

In the sick plant guide there arent enough good pics to give me a good idea weather or not its a Phos deff......I can say that the feedings of High P guano have helped them gain some green...But there still giving me the claw...

...

It did happen on the ones that started flowering first...so..

I feel your pain, i'm having the exact or very similiar problem. I have a thread called "Too much nutes?" describing the same thing. I'm indoors in pots and most thought it was due to ph & small pot size. I repotted to larger pots in fresh soil but think my soil staying too wet could be a contributing factor. Maybe the problem plant is staying wet longer? more soil moist in that hole, less drainage maybe? In my limited experiance i've had plants give me the "claw" after a watering that was too heavy. When you solve the mystery please post, id like to know what the actual cause and fix is. Good luck to you-FT

After some time and thought,,,im thinkin its a potassium defficiency...

The link above (thanks DBM) leads me to believe some of them are also suffering from a Calcium defficiency..

Going to the shop now to get some dolomitic lime,,,and a organic Potassium suppliment....Do a little testing..

I figure its getting enough Phos, with the guano feedings:confused:

My first reaction was K def also. The petioles aren't purpling like a P def would and usually the P def necrosis will start at the tip of the leaf and die back from there whereas a K def will show marignal necrosis with that type of spotting in your pic.
K def will show that orangey rust color as well as Ca def.
