Rust and Brown Colored spots on babies... pictures. Help appreciated!!!

I currently have 5 Ak-47 babies at around 2 weeks old. Two of them have rust and yellow spots starting in the center of the leaves and then expanding outwards... the other 3 are not showing any symptoms. I'm using GH3part nutes... EC of 1.0 and keeping a constant eye on the PH so i know its not a PH problem. Res temp is in low 70's and room temp is high 70's to low 80's.

I know these pictures suck. I couldn't get the damn camera to focus on the leaves!?!?!?!

Now that you mention it i did drop one of the plants in the water for a split second and it could have dripped on its neighbor when i took it out. Do you think thats what it is? How much damage have i caused? Will they recover ok?

Ph of your fertilizer plus water is important. IMO you should be aiming for 6 ph. Is your ph close to this?

When you first make your nutrient solution with everything added to water, Set the ph to 6 and see what plants do. 1 ec on small plants may be too much. If you can give us the content of your fertilizer in ppm of each element like 150 ppm nitrogen, etc... we can see if there is anything irregular. Pay special attention to the micronutrient rates that you are using (give us that in ppm if you can). Those spots look like an excess of something in your nutrient solution or a spill like what was suggested already.

I'm almost positive that it was caused by the solution coming into contact with the plants. The other 3 look fine plus the new leaves on the affected plants look great.

I guess you will get the large doctor bill for coming into the infirmary in the mail. LOL. Good luck growing.

If it was just water then it shouldn't cause any problems...if it was nute solution (especially chem based) it can easily cause burns like that. It's no big deal really as long as it hasn't spread since then...in which case I'd look elsewhere for the cause.

It's doesn't really look like nute burn from feeding via roots tho, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
