Runt?

Hey IC,

So just popped some onyx beans, just 2 of them for now. Both have popped and looking nice and green. However, 1 of them is nice leafs and such but the other is very small. Ive been searching and concluded its a runt. Now these plants are just seedlings, tomorrow should be a week from pop. Is this runt going to grow out? Ive seen regular seeds that are runts and they can be vegged just fine. But since these are autoflower am I going to get anything out of this plant? This plant is probably like not even an inch wide haha.

Thanks guys. Hopefully the other one is a fem! I popped another seed, LA Woman (non auto-regular seed), hopefully it comes out to be a female. I know this is a nontopic autoflower question but if vegged long enough I should see female pistils or male balls correct?

:thank you::tiphat:

mate the seeds have been popped only a week how can you tell that its a runt???

i cant imagine it looking much after a weeks growth anyways, my advice would be give it some love and wait till it shows sex then see what happens ;)

onyx 7 days old ish

if you veg your la woman long enough then it will show you its sex,if its female she will put out little hairs to tell you she is fully mature and ready to flower when you are

Well skotty,

i popped 2 at the same time, and the other is significantly behind. well looks alot smaler than a normal seedling would be

just wondering, is it a bad idea to start my onyx plants at 24 hours of light? what effect will this have on the turnaround time and yield?

thanks in advance!

like others say, just be patient :) , sometimes a seedling can get delayed, but aslong as it isn't stunted it will do just fine.
