Running entire cab off one extension cord?

So i have the following running off of 1, 3 plug outdoor extension cord:
600W Digital Fusion
4" Inline Duct Fan
5050 Btu Samsung A/C
Ecoplus 6" 465cfm Inline Fan
7" Oscillating fan
80gph Water pump running 2min/day.

They are attached via 1 surge bar, and another 3 plug outdoor extension cord, with various timers on the light, inline fan, and AC
I just started thinking about the electrical problems, what are the risks? the room is about 50-60 feet away from the nearest house where i could hook up a power line. Is that the only option, running multiple lines, to different 2 or 4 outlet power outlets? How much can i run off 1 line?
Thanks for your help guys!

Add that up. You better have a 30amp rated Cord. LOL good luck finding one of those. Pretty pricey. Seriously add up the amperage and line usage peak or not of all your gear. That will answer your question. I'm almost 99% sure that you will end up having to find other means other then just one Cord. Not to mention that your breaker and home wiring must be rated for more amps. Your wire Gage would need to be at least 12.

my 600w elux digi draws 5.76a
4" inline draws something like .21
I have no ****ing clue about a 5050btu AC
Your 6" fan probably draws close to if not a little more than .5a
same with the 7"
and that tiny pump aint shit.

so thats about 7a, without the AC added. I doubt your AC is less than 3a, meaning that if your on a 15a breaker, your probably running a dangerous amount of power though the lines. If your on a 20a, and that AC isnt outrageous, you might be fine.

so i could run everything, but the AC, off one cord, and i should be fine? i'm planning on running the other cord from another side of the house, is that necessary? or could i just plug 2 cords from 2 different outlet boxes?

thanks for your help guys, and check out my diary if you wanna peek inside the shed ;)

just make sure the wires are off of 2 different breaker switches or else you're not really helping yourself that much. Hope your extension cord is effin huge or else you're looking at a future powerspike and melted insulation starting a nasty fire

So the cord is rated at 1625 watts, im running more like 1100. Also, if the socket is rated at 15amps, i'm only pushing like 11.9 or something like that.
I'll have to figure something out to run the 2nd line.

I think for a 15amp you should only run like 8-9amps. That way if you peak out when something like a grow light turns on then you won't fry the breaker. I may be alittle off on the 8-9 but its something like that. Sounds like you may be ok. Does the end of the coard feel warm? at all? it shouldn't get warm.

I was under the impression after reading a few electrical threads that you can safely use up to 80% of your circuts available amps and still be safe... Now i must state that this is only a guess after reading a few threads I AM BY NO MEANS AN ELECTRICIAN SO I DONT KNOW IF I AM CORRECT.

So if your on a 15 amp circuit it is only safe to run up to 12 amps.

On a 20 amp circuit that would mean 16 amps would be the highest safe amount.

But others with more experience can steer you in the right direction. I would just make sure that the end of your cord is not warm/hot at all because that would be really bad for you. I would not run that ac on the same circuit though just to be safe. peace dude.

So i've decided the easiest/cheapest thing would be to add a socket out there. ive priced it out to be about $40, and it doesnt seem TOO hard.
Any suggestions on how to tap a wire?

simple famous.... add up the total wattage....

ie: my small cab...

600 (hps)
250 (fan)
200 (misc equipment)

1050 total watts....

now divide that by the voltage... if 120 or 220

mine is 120

1050/120=8.75

I am running roughly 8.75 amps...

off of a 15 amp breaker I'm fine, and would be fine on one extension cord....

amps = current... and you are pulling a lot across one power cable...

I'mma do a quick estimate for you.....

600 (hps)
42 (4"inline fan)
564 (5050 ac)
{can't find specs on the ecoplus--my 8" runs 250w, so we'll say 200w}
200 (ecoplus)
100 (estimate on the pump and 7"fan)

1506/120=12.55 so you are getting close to clipping your breaker, if you are on a 15amp.... mind you that's with everything running... I understand your pump doesn't run 24h/7d and I'm assuming your 600 isn't running 24h? I'd recommend splitting your room up between two 15a breakers or go to 220 if you want to run off of one power cord....

good luck....
