runing a new 430 watt hps?

I have a sun system 400 watt hps. and i bought a 430 watt super hps eye bulb. and i was reading that you can run a 430 watt in a 400 watt system
so i did and it looks good its running good and brighter then the basic 400 watt eye i had in it. taking in account the bulb is rated at 430 watts.basically it can Handel 30 more watts . lacking the extra 30 watts . this bulb my last longer and stay brighter. i am thinking of using these from now on as i can see and feel the difference in the radiation giving off by the bulb.

I ran 430 watt bulbs from a 400 watt ballast for years with no problems.there would be very little difference in lifespan between the two Id think.

I bought a 430 son agro light from Hydrofarm a few years ago and it has the exact same S-51 ballast as a 400,the only difference is the bulb.

Hardly the same wattage but I started with a 170 AgroSun on a 150 ballast. One day the $70 AgroSun burned out and required ASAP replacement with a standard $19 150. The garden never noticed the difference but, my wallet sure did.
