RP Sour D vs RP OG

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. Let’s see how this one goes.


Bought a pack of Sour D and the rest came as freebies

Got 3 out of 5 of the sours to germinate and both ogs

Slightly sweeter stem rub, light lemon citrus But still very similar to my shishkadiesel as far a stem rubs go. This one is more calcium hungry and a little more “leggy”

I have a RP Sour D in bloom week 3 at the moment. Keep us updated. In veg my girls had a Diesel smell with the stem rub in flower less smell in the new stems actually no diesel smell but at the bottom of the plant yes. They grow vigorously and leafs are praying al the time. Only 1 seed popped out of 12 and i cut clones so this will be pure luck if its a good pheno. Good luck bro.

Too bad this thread is not that active , i wish more growers would share their experience with RP Sour Diesel grows. This is my grow day 26 since flip to bloom.

Spidermites are eating all my Diesel leaving me sour. But i still have trust it will be an amazing end product.
Too late for pesticides so i send an army of 1000 predatory mites which didn’t help at all. Does anybody know if Rp Sour diesel buds are supposed to be very dense and veryyy hard? Or is it my pheno?

Final update. Because of the dense buds budrot was a reason to cut the plants down 1 week earlier. There is no diesel smell in the buds or any other smell. The stems still smell like diesel. Somehow i found seeds in some buds, i collected about 20 seeds. So i think they hermied but what i dont understand is that I didn’t see any balls on the plant or strange grow patterns. The Thc content is much lower than what i am used to. About the growth and yield i can say never grew a plant with such dense buds , not only the ones on top even the lower buds were hard and it’s a high yielder. But no Sour Diesel as i hoped so for me Reserva Privada was disappointing but i have to say the growth and yield is incredible so you might get lucky with their genetics it’s not worthless.

Nah, you can do better. I mean everyone can always do better. More airflow, better IPM. Less losses.. let's do it.
